At least 13 injured as series of blasts rip through Kathmandu

Kathmandu - A series of bomb blasts ripped through the Nepalese capital Kathmandu Sunday, injuring at least 13 people.
According to the police, two blasts rocked areas of Kathmandu city centre while another bomb exploded on the north-western suburbs. All the blasts occurred within minutes.
Police said one bomb was placed at a bus stop in Tripureshwor area of the city. At least four students were injured in the blast and their condition was serious.
Another bomb exploded at a busy public transport stop in the city centre, and another ripped through the outskirts of the city injuring nine. Police said they had stepped up security.
