EU condemns India bomb attacks (Extra)

Paris - The European Union Sunday condemned a series of bombings which claimed at least 45 lives in India's commercial city Ahmedabad a day earlier.
France, which currently holds the EU presidency, declared Sunday it was prepared to support the Indian government in its efforts to fight terrorism.
A total of 16 small bombs exploded in the city in India's Western Gujarat state on Saturday, killing at least 45 and injuring 145 others. Eight similar explosions had hit the southern city oif Bangalore a day earlier.

Perhaps if the EU condemned less and acted more, there might be fewer bomb attacks in the future. Ya think? I mean, really ... do you think the bombers will get all teary-eyed and remorseful when a government body condemns them? People who support the use of bombs in public places generally only respond positively when the government response is a bullet to their brains. The only good bomber is a dead one.
