Police: Woman and child killed in Taliban rocket attack

Kabul - A woman and a child were killed Sunday in a Taliban rocket attack in the eastern city of Khost, provincial police said on Monday.
Chief of Police in Khost Province General Abdul Kayoum said that two other children were injured in the attack, when a rocket fired by Taliban militants hit a house in the provincial capital.
In the same province two employees of a private security firm were killed in a booby-trap bomb. The US army also reported on Monday that five Taliban militants were killed in the south-eastern province of Ghazni.
