At least 16 killed in Bangladesh road crash

Dhaka - At least 16 people were killed and dozens injured Thursday when a bus and a truck collided head-on in Bangladesh's north-western Sirajganj district, according to police.
They said the vehicles collided at Pachalia, leaving 13 passengers dead on the spot while three others succumbed to their injuries at a nearby clinic.
Twenty-five passengers who sustained injuries were undergoing medical treatment at a local hospital, an inspector of the highway police said.
