Two British soldiers killed in southern Afghanistan
Jul 10, 2009, 8:36 GMT
London - Two British soldiers have been killed in separate incidents in southern Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said in London Friday.
The deaths in Helmand province occurred Thursday, taking to 178 the total number of British military fatalities in Afghanistan.
The news came as relatives were preparing for the return of the bodies of five British soldiers killed in Afghanistan over the past week to RAF Lyneham, an air force base in the south-western county of Wiltshire.
