Islamabad - At least nine people were killed in a boat accident in Pakistan's eastern province of Punjab, the police reported Wednesday.
The boat that was carrying 12 members of the same family capsized for unknown reasons Tuesday evening in Sutleg River in Bahwal Nager district.
'Last evening the locals rescued two people,' said Chaudhry Rafiq, a police investigator. 'Today we recovered 9 bodies of those drowned, including two women and four children.'
Rafiq said the rescuers were still looking for the tenth person.
