Bulgarian defence minister visits troops in Afghanistan

Sofia - Bulgarian Defence Minister Anyu Angelov spent two days in war-torn Afghanistan this week, visiting troops and meeting with top NATO commander General David Petraeus, Angelov's ministry announced shortly before his return on Wednesday.
He also signed an agreement on Bulgaria's contribution of transport technology to the Afghan police during the visit.
The Balkan country has deployed 600 soldiers, instructors and doctors to the Afghan capital Kabul and the southern city Kandahar.
