Apr 4, 2011, 11:11 GMT
Islamabad - Pakistani police have arrested a man and two women on suspicion of cannibalism after recovering a dismembered corpse taken from a nearby graveyard, a media report said on Monday.
Officers raided a house in Bhakkar district in the eastern province of Punjab on Sunday after the brother of a woman buried recently complained to the police that her corpse was missing from the grave.
The Dawn newspaper reported that the police found the woman's body with one leg cut off up to the knee and a foot severed from a locked room.
They also discovered the amputated parts being cooked in another room.
Police arrested 34-year-old man identified as Arif, his sister and an aunt at the house.
During questioning Arif said that the family had previously eaten the flesh of a little girl whose body his brother had taken from a grave, the paper reported.
