Dutchman killed in Nepal landslide

Kathmandu - A Dutch hiker was killed in Nepal in a landslide caused by incessant rainfall, police confirmed Thursday.
Police said the man was killed when he was trekking in the Syabrubesi area in Nepal's mountains, Wednesday. He was buried by a landslide.
Hundreds of people are killed in Nepal every year in floods and landslides brought on by seasonal rains, according to the South Asian Floods organization, a forum for information exchange between affected countries.
