Bangladesh convicts 182 soldiers for mutiny

Dhaka - A Bangladeshi court on Monday sentenced 182 soldiers to prison for a 2009 mutiny against their commanders at the Dhaka base of the paramilitary border guards, officials said.
The special court headed by Brigadier General Abu Sayeed Khan handed down sentences ranging four months to seven years.
The mutiny at the Pilkhana headquarters left 74 people including 57 army officers dead in February 2009.
