Local Afghan militia commander, son murdered in Afghanistan

Kabul - A local Afghan militia commander was shot dead along with his son in the northern city of Kunduz while they were travelling home on a motorbike, police said Sunday.
The Taliban militants claimed responsibility for the killing Saturday of Abdul Khaliq, saying their fighters killed the commander along with his bodyguard.
