Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao to visit Nepal

Kathmandu - Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao is to arrive in Nepal on Saturday, according to the Chinese embassy in Kathmandu.
China's ambassador to Nepal, Yang Houlan, met Nepalese Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai late Thursday to inform him about the sudden visit.
During his five-hour visit Wen is the meet the prime minister and president, before flying to Qatar.
Security was stepped up at the airport and elsewhere in the capital amid the threat of possible protests from Tibetan exiles in Kathmandu.
About 20,000 Tibetan refugees live in Nepal, according to government statistics, but thousands more are there as undocumented migrants.
Ahead of the visit, police arrested 90 Tibetans as they were entering Kathmandu, for traveling without legal documents.
