Three killed, many hurt in India train accident

New Delhi - Three people were killed and at least 50 injured Friday when seven coaches of a passenger train derailed in the north-eastern Indian state of Assam, news reports said.
The train derailed after it hit a truck that had stalled on the tracks at an unmanned railway crossing near Assam's principal city of Guwahati, the IANS news agency and NDTV channel reported.
The driver of the truck was among those killed, railway officials were quoted as saying.
