Nepalese father detained in stoning deaths of three daughters

Kathmandu - A Nepalese man was accused of stoning to death his three daughters, ages 7, 9 and 12, a news report said Friday.
Bhakta Bhahadur Rumba, 35, was detained for investigation after the deaths Thursday night in the Makwanpur district, about 100 kilometres south of Kathmandu, the eKantipur news portal said.
Rumba was believed to be mentally ill.
Police said the incident occurred while the mother was attending a relative's wedding.
