From Monsters and Critics.com South Asia News Islamabad - Rural villagers in the eastern Pakistani province of Punjab killed 103 snakes in a single day, media reports said Tuesday. The onslaught began when a snake appeared as a labourer was digging with a spade to strengthen the bank of a canal in a village near Shaiwal on Monday morning. He killed the 2-metre snake immediately, but several more snakes emerged, the Dawn newspaper reported. Dozens of villagers gathered at the site and had killed 103 snakes by afternoon.
