The british new coins look ugly.
i think the new coins look great. i cant wait to have loads in my pocket!
they are wicked!!!
The old British Coins represented all 4 country’s Why has the royal mint annexed Wales, they could have put the welsh feathers on the 5p coin
With these new coins we will be the laughing stock of the world
the new coins lokk beasty
The fragmented heraldy on the obverse of all these coins clearly forcast the break-up of the United Kingdom back into their own respective countries.
England, Scotland ,Wales and Northern Ireland.
Scotland, who already have their own Parliment in Edinburgh, will make a referendum at the next election and may vote for complete Independence.
Why does the Royal Mint keep putting the 1965 portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on all coins and banknotes?.
Is this some stupid form of flattery, and or does the engraver need to wear bi-focles and join the 21st century.
The Queen is now a white-haired wrinkley 80yr old grandmother who dosn't bear not even the slightest resemblence to the one on the coinage of the realm.
Pathetic work!Shame! Royal Mint.
I think you mean the 1985 portrait of Queen Elizabeth which is still on the coins.
Yes, its well over twenty years out of date and looks nothing like the Queen on TV.

I once participated in an experiment where we were shown photographs of genuine and alternate design coins and most people couldn't positively identify which group each example belonged to to any greater degree, than if they chose at random.
