Earthquake rocks southern England

London - A 5.0-magnitude earthquake rocked parts of southern England Saturday, English media reported.
The quake shook the counties of Kent, Sussex, Essex and Suffolk and resulted in 'widespread structural damage,' The Daily Star reported on its website.
People reported up to 20 seconds of shaking and some homes lost power, the report said.
The US Geological Survey reported on its website that the quake took place at 0718 GMT at a depth of 10 kilometres 25 kilometres to the south of the city of Canterbury in the south-east of England.
