Minor earthquake recorded in British city

London - A small earthquake has shaken the city of Manchester in northern Britain in what is the second such event within a few weeks, the authorities said Thursday.
The minor earth tremor was felt in the city centre just after 0445 GMT but there were no reports of injuries or damage to property, the BBC said.
Seismologists at the British Geological Survey (BGS) in Edinburgh, have confirmed the quake measured 2.4 on the Richter scale.
An earthquake measuring 2.5 was felt in Manchester centre on August 10.

'Northern Britain' surely thats Scotland?
Och Aye,we Picts and Scots occupy Northern Briton,just ye ask they Romans, they fled back down South when they saw our weapons which we hid under our kilts until the last moment before we were at them.Manchester!!, where's that???.
