Four arrested in football corruption investigation

(M&C) - City of London police have confirmed that four men are being held in connection with allegations of football corruption.
Officers said the four were being held on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting.
Police raided eight addresses in connection with the ongoing corruption investigation, arresting four suspects aged 69, 55, 48 and 30.
A spokeswoman for the force said the arrests had been made as "part of an ongoing investigation into football corruption".
She added that three searches were continuing while five had been completed.
