What a pathetic statement. Could anybody predict what is happening NOW just a few months ago? Cerainly members of this present government could not. Their popularity has declined 50% in 6 months, did they predict that ?
To set targets 47 years in the future is folly, could the government in 1907 predict what was going to happen by 1950? [Airoplanes, cars, 2 world wars?]
The trouble with the UK government is that is about as intelligent as they get.
Brit, what is your point in all that ranting, the article was about climate. That has nothing to do with popularity polls I guess, are you telling anybody the laws of thermodynamics function like popularity polls? Then please go back to college and get a decent basic education, you seem to lack consideration and understanding of even the most basic rules of science.
