(M&C) - The Filipina wife of a British pastor found dead in a swamp in the Philippines has been charged with his murder.
Annalyn Bataller Brash, 22, has confessed to the hiring of paid killers to murder her 62-year-old preacher husband David Brash report Philippines newspapers.
Mr Brash's charred remains were found in a swamp on the island of Mindanao on the weekend, just six weeks after he flew out from the Pacific Islands to start missionary work in the country.
Mr Brash and his new wife had been married for less than a year.
There have been some reports that Mrs Brash has claimed Mr Brash "mistreated" both her and their young son.
The BBC has reported the Foreign Office as saying it was "aware of reports about David Brash" but could not confirm any details.
