Cherie Blair 'suffering from swine flu'
Jul 16, 2009, 15:00 GMT
London - Cherie Blair, wife of former British prime minister Tony Blair, has been laid low with swine flu and has cancelled a number of public appointments, British media reports said Thursday.
Cancelled dates included the receiving an honorary doctorate at Hope University in her native Liverpool for work promoting human rights.
The reports said it was not known if her husband - now Middle East envoy for the United Nations, European Union, United States, and Russia - or four children also had the swine flu virus. A Blair spokesperson declined comment.
