Jul 26, 2010, 22:37 GMT
Sana'a, Yemen - Unknown gunmen opened fire at the British embassy in the Yemeni capital Sana'a late Monday, injuring three policemen, a security source told the German Press Agency dpa.
The three police troopers were guarding the embassy. The source said no one had been arrested so far.
The shooters fired at the embassy with AK-47 rifles from a street in front of the embassy's main gate, police officers at the scene told dpa.
Police closed off a main street leading to the embassy and forensic experts were seen scanning the area outside both the embassy and a five-star hotel across the street.
