Nov 5, 2010, 19:38 GMT
London - At least seven people were injured Friday when a cement-mixing lorry plunged from a bridge on to a passenger train near London, a spokesman for Britain's Network Rail said.
The lorry fell from a tall viaduct bridge onto the roof of a commuter train travelling from Guildford, south-west of London, to Waterloo Station in the British capital.
British Transport Police said 36 people were on the train, which was travelling on a branch line.
Five train passengers suffered minor injuries, but one traveller and the lorry driver, who had been trapped in his cab, were more seriously injured, police said.
