Malaga, Spain - Rock and blues guitarist Gary Moore, who passed away in Spain on Sunday, died of natural causes, forensic experts said Monday.
Moore, 58, died in his hotel room in the holiday resort of Estepona, where he was on vacation with his girlfriend.
His body showed no signs of violence, the sources said. However, the results of the post-mortem still needed to be confirmed by chemical tests.
The British newspaper The Sun reported that Moore choked on his vomit after knocking back champagne and brandy.
The guitarist, from Belfast in Northern Ireland, was best known for his spell in the group Thin Lizzy, but also had an extensive solo career.
