Britain ready to boost IMF funds, says Cameron
Nov 3, 2011, 19:29 GMT
London - The British government is ready to consider boosting its contribution to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the current global financial crisis, Prime Minister David Cameron said Thursday.
His remarks came as the British leader left for Cannes for the Group of 20 (G20) summit.
However, as previously stated, Britain would not support the eurozone bailout fund, as it is not a member of the single European currency.
'I am here to safeguard the British economy,' Cameron said.
