Bus crash in Vietnam kills British woman, local truck driver

Hanoi - A traffic accident in northern Vietnam's Ha Long City has left two people dead, including a British woman, an official said Thursday.
The accident happened on Wednesday morning, an official from the British Embassy said.
According to a report in Tuoi Tre newspaper, the incident occurred when a bus travelling from Hanoi collided with an approaching truck which then smashed into a minivan.
The crash killed the truck driver and a British woman who was travelling with two other foreigners in the minivan, the report said. Another 15 people were injured, eight of whom were in critical condition.
Ha Long City is the gateway to the popular tourist destination of Ha Long Bay.
