Federer hammers Nadal to London semi-final place

London - Roger Federer crushed longtime rival Rafael Nadal 6-3, 6-0 on Tuesday to claim the first semi-final place at the ATP World Tour Finals with a dominating performance.
The 16-time Grand Slam winner from Switzerland moved to within two wins of a record sixth year-end title.
Federer showed the majestic form which has carried him to trophies in his last two events (Basle and Paris) after taking six weeks off from late September.
The Swiss who won the London event a year ago over the Spaniard was facing Nadal for the first time since losing to his rival in a French Open final in June.
