Jan 2, 2012, 14:11 GMT
London - Four members of the same family were found dead after a shooting in a house in the north of England, police said Monday.
The bodies of a 42-year old man and three women were found at a house in Peterlee, near Durham. It is thought the man shot his victims before turning the gun on himself.
Police said they were not hunting for any other suspect in the killings, and that the man had held legal firearms certificates.
One teenage woman escaped from the house via an upstairs window during the shooting.
