Perhaps, before shooting your mouth off, you should look at Johnny's resume'. Also, go read his book, and then decide.

He's a Naval Acadamy grad, served in combat in Vietnam, captured and released.

He's been a federal legislator for at least 20 years, and passed some of the most contentious legislation, taking it in the chest, that risk averse Hillary's and Obama's run from like the wind, while preening themselves for higher office.

He has harangued the Pentagon over countless spending priorities, and pushed reform to the tune of billions of dollars. In each case, he has taken a political hit.

I'm not a big fan of John MCCain's politics, but there is not a man and certainly no WOMAN who deserves the shot more. In each case, he has come out and told it like it is, the consequences be damned. You would think this would earn him some cred, but dickheads like you cannot add two and two.

RE:'Why don't you guys consider fine tuning what could be a useful debate to the programs candidates present .You have a plagues health care system that accounts for the loss of ten thousands lives per year due poor functioning and people being banned access to it.'

Says who, Tonny? I agree that it is entirely possible, but statistically it is insignificant relative to our population. We lose about 40,000 people per year in automobile accidents, even with safest automobile designs ever produced. Practically speaking how much better can it get? Health care for most of is a good deal more expensive than we like, but the poor do get pretty good care here.

RE:'Education can be improved ,it ought to be free for all,not subject to the wealth of your parents. THose are issues that create equal opportunities and rights for all americans.'

Basic education, twelve years of it, is free and mandatory in every state of the union, Tonny. The system stopped performing well right after I graduated from high school and has continued to worsen despite billions of dollars being pumped into the system. Some of the problems causing the system to fail are not susceptible to the spending of more money. Very often, the problems lie with parents and local leadership. Also, I think the worst of these problems is that school administrators are unwilling to rid the schools of disruptive students.

RE:'If you consider the incredible amount of money that has been spent on the Iraqi disaster ,you'll find out that all of it could have been easily financed with the money spent on weapons.'

Actually, what you are talking about here is the money spent on a war, not just weapons. Was the war necessary? That really is debatable. When we went into Iraq the majority of Americans were FOR IT, but they expected the military to kick asses and then come home and not stay in Iraq for a protracted period of time, something Colin Powell had warned about during the first Persian Gulf War.

Would that money have been better spent on education, housing and other welfare programs? No, not really. The war has put us so far into debt that it is sickening.

RE:'You would still even have been able to provide decent housing for those that are homeless or living in slums.'

Had the federal government taken control of our southern border as it had promised to do back during the Reagen Administration, many of our social welfare troubles would be somewhere near being solved by now. The huge influx of immigrants has hurt us a good deal more than members of either political party want to admit. Both of them profit from the misery.

RE:'THose are more important issues in my eyes.Republicans offer nothing and so they concentrate on empty words such as 'leadership capacities' ,etc.Don't get fooled ,the issues of democracy is all of you. THe next stage in the republican campaign will be smear and slander ,dirty tricks if they see their chances of being elected deflated.THey did that to John Kerry (remember the sift boat campaign ? à and to Clinton (Just ask SP4 about that ...Hsu...Berger...) don't get sidetracked by smear or irrelevant issues, focus on your interests in all this.'

Oh, both parties do this same thing during every campaign. It is nothing new and both sides are really good at it. It is NOT just the Republicans who pull this crap. As for John Kerry, the swift boat campaign would not have hurt him one bit if people had liked him. Look at the BS Bill Clinton has gotten away with. People forgave his misbehavior because they liked him. Is that crazy? You're damned right it is, but that is how democracies work.

I'll give you another for instance. Look at how these boards work most of the time. Nearly a half to two-thirds of the exchanges here amount to little more than traded insults. There is no such thing as purity in politics and there never will be. Any argument about what politics should be or could be will likely be correct, but suffers from the failure to recognize the nature of the materials with which politics are built--human beings.

So, if you want to argue against the Goopers on any subject, including health care, it is necessary to refute their ideas and claims. Simply dismissing said ideas as 'non-existent' or as being 'nothing to offer' really won't make the grade.

Sure, if you express an opinion that I do not agree with I will argue against it, so may any number of other people. Wnat to debate the issues, instead of integrity? Be my guest!

Want a health care debate? Go see how health care fares in states where the dem lib cansidates live versus the bad old republicans.

New York has some of the highest insurance premiums in the US, and one of the lowest levels of insured. The libnazi cow towing to the Trial Lawyers has pump the price of health care to stratospheric levals and is NEVER mentioned by the libnazi press.

Now, we are supposed to believe that these lib chuckleheads have some kind of solution, while guys like Romney have been DOING on health care and succeeding, abeit to a small degree.

Don't like my repsonse? Go check out education: The dem libs have been sucking the heads of public ed for thirty years and it has stadily gotten worse. In fact, ever since the fed has goten into the ed business, it has declined. Need an ironclad example?

Washington DC - here is a region entirely funded by fed dollars and is a disgrace. In this case no one can blame a state for failure and the feds just keep pouring good money after bad. The result: the liberals are BEGGING for vouchers!

hahahahahahahahaha!

Fed Ed is dead. The only thing left is the funeral.

No, Tonny, the debate is legit and after 7 years of hearing about the big bad wolf Bush, we're going to highlight EVERY crooked shortcoming of Hillary and her minions. It was important to you, now it's important to ALL of you!

Look... Here is what you do:

You: 'Blah blah, you just say that because you are a douche bag, blah blah think the way I think even though I haven't ventured an opinion, blah blah, some playground insult.' (Add in a few Non sequitur and some misused words where the 'blahs' are.)

Noharness: 'Sunny days are nice.'

You: 'You not nice no headlice and uneducated, everyone look at me now because I am an attention whore.'

You see, you just look like you were raised on a diet of lead paint chips.

Instead, you could try to argue that rain is necessary for crops or that you like to see rainbows or that you like to jump in puddles... whatever. Or you could even AGREE that sunny days are nice. 'Country-wise, depending on which source you use, there are up to 193 more to chose from. Even IF you could get my current IP from Monsters and Critics, you still wouldn't have MY IP. Waste your time, fool, try again.'

You are indeed a waste of time.

'Waste your time, fool, try again.'

No thanks, you are just a boring troll venting his impotent frustration on the internet. I don't blame you for being ashamed of your country, whatever it is is obviously so boring and inconsequential that your only say in world politics is to whine about what a country that actually counts does.

Original as always... You get called a child, you come back with the most amazing retort...

'It shows in his basic lack of understanding of grammatical and English language norms. '

Where?

'But that is to be expected, for he was 'educated' in amerika, where they don't speak English, but american.'

LOL! Hey, at least I was educated. You have demonstrated conclusively that you can't answer the simplest question, defend any position or engage in a legitimate debate if your life depended on it. In other words, you have demonstrated that you are an idiot. One that is jealous of the USA by the way. Typical.

to insert a little sanity here...
The New Yorker says; ' Especially dull idiots like you.'
But he does seem to enjoy attempting to verbally duel with someone who is better at it than he is. The poor man doesn't seem to realize that he is unarmed.
After a word from our sponsors, we return to the match. Grab a beer or two, I don't think that this little tete a tete is over.

You wonder why people don't take you seriously?Jan 22nd, 2008 - 01:09:50

Let's review, moron. You were given an opportunity to engage in authentic discourse. You couldn't, you are simply too stupid. You were provided with a primer on how to engage in in a rational discussion. It was beyond your abilities. Since then it has degenerated in to you calling me, and I couldn't make this up if I wanted to: 'yuckie' which is just plain pathetic. (Just a wild guess here, but this isn't the first time you have been called 'pathetic' is it?)

You have whined like the spoiled child you are that SP4 and Noharness don't take you seriously. Guess what, you do not deserve to be taken seriously. You behave like an idiot. You whine that they shoot down your arguments? You do not make arguments. You don't have any ideas to attack. You are not even an amusing troll. 'Yuckie'? Come on, that is beyond infantile.

You have disgraced yourself at every descending level. I await you transitioning from infantile to embryonic...

Just borrowing your obvious tactic.

'he is still so lonely that he has to go out on the web and attack people.'

Lonely, eh? Is that why you spew your inane drivel after everything SP4 or noharness posts here? Poor thing, attention starved. No wonder.

'Have a nice circle jerk with your friends'

Lol, You have shown that you can't win in the battle of ideas or even in the exchange of insults you witless whiner. Don't let the door hit you in that gigantic rear end of yours.

off base in all things he says. There was nothing here to win, but he wound up losing, anyway. He has shown everyone what a one dimension being he is.
Like his friends, whom he keeps mentioning, SP4 and Noharness, (as if they give him any credibility whatsoever), he doesn't have the where-with-all for intelligent discourse. I hope he enjoys his many delusions, starting with his 'victory.' Just like his cracked Liberty Bell, The Yucker rings hollow.

So long, loser.Jan 22nd, 2008 - 03:00:49

'New Yucker is off base in all things he says.'

I guess no one ever told you about 'categorical propositions.' (Or any other kind of logical syllogism for that matter.)

'There was nothing here to win, but he wound up losing, anyway.'

Nothing self contradictory there... Yup, you make so much sense...

'He has shown everyone what a one dimension being he is. '

Once again, since you haven't gotten it yet: You have been offered rational discourse. You have been provided with an example of how to conduct it, you have not been unable to provide an intelligent counterargument to anything here. The only thing you have shown yourself capable of doing is making a fool out of yourself with ever more infantile, sub playground, English as a second language insults. So how 'multidimensional' is that?

'Like his friends, whom he keeps mentioning, SP4 and Noharness,'

I have never met either one of them. SP4 and I have actually had some disagreements here. I just think it is pathetic that you can't engage them in normal discussion and you insist on making a fool out of yourself by sitting at your keyboard and hitting 'refresh' all day so you can write something agonizingly stupid after each SP4 post. If you want to get at him, break his argument. If you want to keep making a fool out of yourself keep mixing your metaphors, not addressing the issues and tossing out 3 year old mentality insults.

'as if they give him any credibility whatsoever'

I am not doing this for their validation. Are you here to get some 'credibility'? How many different ways can it be demonstrated to you that you are going about it the wrong way?

'he doesn't have the where-with-all for intelligent discourse'

LOL, It is all up for everyone to see. You have run like hell from having to rationally defend your positions. You aren't even TAKING positions anymore. Fine. If your ideas can't stand scrutiny maybe you should change your ideas. (By the way, THAT'S why I post here.)

' I hope he enjoys his many delusions, starting with his 'victory.''

Where did I say the word 'victory'? That was your word for my outcome here. :-D To be clear, you are a waste of time. I don't consider wasted time a victory.

'Just like his cracked Liberty Bell, The Yucker rings hollow. '

LOL, another tortured metaphor... Give it up fool.

After doing some research into what he was saying and references to past posts, it would appear that N.Y. is the web troll. It took a LOT of digging to find the stuff he so quickly threw out. He must have a log of his own posts cross referenced to each other. He then picks things and throws them to see if they stick. He has got to be an immature little cretin, particularly when he throws stuff like this, out of the blue: 'We own you.' The Newbie is just another egomaniacal troll like SP4 and Noharness - All bluff, bluster and B.S.
