JOE BIDEN’S 14 LIES TONIGHT
1. TAX VOTE: Biden said McCain voted “the exact same way” as Obama to increase taxes on Americans earning just $42,000, but McCain DID NOT VOTE THAT WAY.
2. AHMEDINIJAD MEETING: Joe Biden lied when he said that Barack Obama never said that he would sit down unconditionally with Mahmoud Ahmedinijad of Iran. Barack Obama did say specifically, and Joe Biden attacked him for it.
3. OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING: Biden said, “Drill we must.” But Biden has opposed offshore drilling and even compared offshore drilling to “raping” the Outer Continental Shelf.”
4. TROOP FUNDING: Joe Biden lied when he indicated that John McCain and Barack Obama voted the same way against funding the troops in the field. John McCain opposed a bill that included a timeline, that the President of the United States had already said he would veto regardless of it’s passage.
5. OPPOSING CLEAN COAL: Biden says he’s always been for clean coal, but he just told a voter that he is against clean coal and any new coal plants in America and has a record of voting against clean coal and coal in the U.S. Senate.
6. ALERNATIVE ENERGY VOTES: According to FactCheck.org, Biden is exaggerating and overstating John McCain’s record voting for alternative energy when he says he voted against it 23 times.
7. HEALTH INSURANCE: Biden falsely said McCain will raise taxes on people’s health insurance coverage — they get a tax credit to offset any tax hike. Independent fact checkers have confirmed this attack is false
8. OIL TAXES: Biden falsely said Palin supported a windfall profits tax in Alaska — she reformed the state tax and revenue system, it’s not a windfall profits tax.
9. AFGHANISTAN / GEN. MCKIERNAN COMMENTS: Biden said that top military commander in Iraq said the principles of the surge could not be applied to Afghanistan, but the commander of NATO’s International Security Assistance Force Gen. David D. McKiernan said that there were principles of the surge strategy, including working with tribes, that could be applied in Afghanistan.
10. REGULATION: Biden falsely said McCain weakened regulation — he actually called for more regulation on Fannie and Freddie.
11. IRAQ: When Joe Biden lied when he said that John McCain was “dead wrong on Iraq”, because Joe Biden shared the same vote to authorize the war and differed on the surge strategy where they John McCain has been proven right.
12. TAX INCREASES: Biden said Americans earning less than $250,000 wouldn’t see higher taxes, but the Obama-Biden tax plan would raise taxes on individuals making $200,000 or more.
13. BAILOUT: Biden said the economic rescue legislation matches the four principles that Obama laid out, but in reality it doesn’t meet two of the four principles that Obama outlined on Sept. 19, which were that it include an emergency economic stimulus package, and that it be part of “part of a globally coordinated effort with our partners in the G-20.”
14. REAGAN TAX RATES: Biden is wrong in saying that under Obama, Americans won’t pay any more in taxes then they did under Reagan.
Biden also demonstrated that he doesn't know the difference between the Gaza strip and the west bank this evening:
'Here’s what the president said when we said no. He insisted on elections on the West Bank, when I said, and others said, and Barack Obama said, “Big mistake. Hamas will win. You’ll legitimize them.” What happened? Hamas won.'
Hamas won in Gaza, not the west bank proving once again that they drilled Bidens hair plugs in too deep and struck brain.

As I predicted yesterday the republican internet smear campaign would be quickly on this one .The smear will continue even after the elections is my next prediction.There is great need for an intelligent team to guide your country through the next decade ,solving the incredible problem of debt,health care and education ,all major issues which leave the US ranking as a third world country .Things won't go any better in the future if these problems are not addressed properly .Yet this is not the toughest problem.That one is constantly ignored :global warming of which the first predicted effects are showing ,exactly as predicted by the world community of scientists .The latest bad news being the emission of methane from ocean bottoms and tundra .Billions of tons will possibly released into the atmosphere .Methane is twenty times more powerful as a warmth retaining gas than carbon dioxide .
The world will need capable and understanding US government .Intelligence is required,et as far as I know the USA is the only country in the world in which intelligence is considered suspicious by the voters .
In regard of those issues I might add that Palin is now 'prepared' by a week of intensive brainwashing to answer questions from journalists .All her personal spontaneous statements have been ironed out and replaced by the typical 'newspeak' of the GOP.That doesn't qualify her in my honest opinion,unprepared was never the word that crossed my mind,rather unfit .That she still is,one week of intensive media training can change rhe appearance but not the core.
The length of these Republican posts suggests they were all prepared in advance by some of the sponsored posters who are trying to biasthe content of this site - as they have been doing for several months
As a balance for these biased views, onsider the steps taken (in a supposedly democratic country) to block voters. 1. States which don't allow anyone with a criminal record to vote - so if (say) Joe Brown has a conviction, they block every Joe Brown because they can't be bothered to check for the real one. 2. Insisting on photographic identity - knowing that many of the poorer people won't have a driving licence or passport - effectively discriminating against many would-be Democrat voters. 3. Not having easily accessible voting stations (by distance) knowing that the poorer voters (again Democrat tendency) will find it difficult to get there.

Watching CNN is leading me to vote!!! I have never voted. I was going for Obama but I was only doing it because my best friend is for him. I was leaning towards Obama and still may change direction, but after watching Palin, I SEE REAL CHANGE. The change I may feel in my pockets. Palin is so close to how I see life here in Ohio. Barack Obama gets a rare tweak from CNN on his inability to perform off-script. While appearing at a campaign rally in Pueblo, Colorado, Obama made a joint appearance, not with Joe Biden or Senate candidate Mark Udall, but with a more critical member of his campaign — his Teleprompter:
The Democratic presidential nominee has never tried to hide the fact he delivers speeches off the device, though normally he doesn’t use one at standard campaign rallies and town hall events.
But the Illinois senator used a teleprompter at both his Colorado events Monday — making for a particularly peculiar scene in Pueblo, where the prompter was set up in the middle of what is normally a rodeo ring.
Normally, speakers use Teleprompters for larger events and use notes for smaller stops on the campaign trail. There’s nothing wrong with using a Teleprompter — it’s a great tool (when it works) and allows the speakers to maintain eye contact with the audience. It also allows the candidate more freedom to move on stage and frees them from the podium, allowing a more natural delivery.
But for a campaign that laughably dismissed Palin two weeks ago for using a speechwriter, this seems rather revealing. Palin uses speechwriters, and Obama can’t be separated from his Teleprompter. Maybe they can avoid the whole problem with a Milli Vanilli/Ashlee Simpson approach and have Obama lip-synch the speeches instead.

It's not enough for Palin to be a popularity draw simply because she is a novelty. After they get through delving into all that is 'Palin' just like they are doing with Obama, it isn't going to be all just a good old hockey mom. And speaking of that, it's been reported that that's a lot of crap that only one of her children played hockey and only for a short time. But that's beside the point - she's a lot of hot air. This country would not think she was so great when they might have to call her 'President' Palin - a complete disaster or nightmare, take your pick.
