NEW ORLEANS, LA, United States -- Work continued over the weekend to remove piles of trash outside of the Superdome where thousands of people took refuge from Hurricane Katrina and the subsequent levee breaks, leaving behind tons of waste.
In other parts of New Orleans thousands of gallons of toxic water per minute were being pumped out of the city.
