NEW ORLEANS, LA, United States -- Work continued on Friday to cleanup the hurricane ravaged city of New Orleans.
Although the amount of work still to be done was all too apparent, there was some good news. New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin announced business workers would be allowed into the central business district on Saturday, for the first time since Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast. Restaurant, bar and other business owners were already busy clearing up on Bourbon Street.
Meanwhile in other part of the city workers and engineers continued to pump filthy water out of the city.
