Hillary Clinton launches White House bid

Jan 20, 2007, 19:10 GMT

Washington - Hillary Rodham Clinton, the wife of former US president Bill Clinton, launched Saturday her bid to become president in 2008.

'I'm in. And I'm in to win,' Clinton said on her website.

In the announcement on her website, Clinton said she was forming an exploratory committee to run for president and asked the US public 'to join me not just for the campaign but for a conversation about the future of our country.'

A series of live web chats beginning on Monday and for the next few days would be the start of this 'conversation,' she added.

After six years of the Bush administration, only a new president could renew the promise of America, 'the idea that if you work hard you can count on the health care, education, and retirement security that you need to raise your family.'

These basic values were under daily attack from the present administration.

In reference to Iraq, Clinton sought a 'right end' and said only a new president could restore the US's position as a respected world leader.

The formation of the committee is considered the first step towards a presidential candidacy. Clinton, who is a senator for New York for the Democratic Party, ended months of speculation with the announcement.

She now joins former vice-presidential candidate John Edwards and Illinois Senator Barack Obama in the race to win the Democratic nomination to run for president.

Last Tuesday, Obama announced the formation of a committee to run for president. However, surveys have given Clinton the greatest chances of a nomination.

If by some stroke of luck and ignorance on the part of US voters she makes it to office I will terminate my 50yr citizenship and move to Grand Cayman. We don't need another liar & cheat in DC. Unbelievable she is in the position to even run.

I bought all the books of Hillary but she was never well advised to run for
a senate seat or even the oval office from such a zionistic place as N.Y.N.Y.
with an overdetermined zionistic election constituency with Smielblik Shumer.
There is already a better presidential !Muslim' candidate to run for the Democrats,
who is currently the Editor of the Harvard Law School Journal and not Yale or
Princeton. In law is Princeton or Yale where the Clintons established
their reign compared to Harvard - believe me, or not - second to none.

I hope now at least she'll be granted an tribute at the Yale Law School, all others in politics from there have. We've had a Harvard MBA conspiracy perhaps with Mr. Bush getting out of National Guard 6 months early (which stared as protection of the new capital, New York City, before 'it' became state militias) to pursue with his stated MBA school chum and major Republican Party contributor, Mr. Thomas C. Foley, who, according to the 'Washington Post' is reportedly in charge of privatizing all the once run state businesses in Iraq! Some MBA! I hope they at least give her the same recognition at Yale University, I'm from New York State and I think as a Senator she's been doing a wonderful job in a difficult political climate, between Congress meeting in NYC, the Republicans having their convention there too and the wonderful propaganda that's led the country into a declared war based on fallacious evidence.

Good luck Hillary. You are definitely better than all other -thus far- Democratic candidates. You thoroughly deserve the Democratic nomination, even the Presidency.

can actually save the USA from people like bush and the people who support him. The Democratic Party would do well to support Hillary right now and pull her up to the top. It's time!

Hillary has been running for 6 years. When she gets the nomination (who's going to refuse her?) Let's ask her about:

The Clinton pardon of Marc Rich - The DNC got 1 million $$ for it.

The Clinton pardon of convicted democratic Rep. Dan Rostenkowski

Sandy Berg(Lar's old law firm pimping white house access to oil companies for money

Sandy Berg(Larry's Amoco stock holdings while pimping Amoco in the White House

Hillary's commodity trades with the Tyson trader

The Clinton's Chinese campaign donations

The Clintons Russian campaign donations

The Clinton administrations dismantling of the CIA

Whitewater

White House travel Office Scandal

White House FBI records scandal

Hillary's old Law firm missing documents

Vince Foster being blamed for the FBI document Scandal, posthumously.

Getting former convicted Black Panthers positions in the Justice Department

Yes, by all means, nominate her.

Questions?

If Hillary becomes President does Bill get to decorate the White House?

What would you call Bill, the first Man?

Will Hillary get to have some extra curricular activities, just like Bill?
