Police kill naked couple in celebrity hotel shoot-out

Los Angeles - Police shot and killed a naked couple in their room at a luxury California resort after officers responded to reports of domestic violence.
The killings occurred when the duo refused to drop their gun, police said Monday.
Police arrived at the Montage Resort and Spa after emergency calls that the couple were involved in a domestic dispute and that a naked woman was running around the hotel waving a gun.
Police said that when they arrived the couple both pointed the gun at the officers, who opened fire after the couple refused to drop the gun.
The 262-room resort hotel charges over 2,000 dollars a night for each of its bungalows. It opened in 2003 and is popular with celebrities.
