Jul 10, 2007, 14:51 GMT
Washington - A small plane crashed into two homes near Orlando, Florida on Tuesday, killing two people and leaving three others critically injured, authorities said.
The plane's pilot was killed along with a passenger when the aircraft struck the residences at about 1230 GMT.
Three occupants of one of the homes, a man, woman and 10-year-old boy, were taken to the hospital, and police were looking for a second, four-year-old child.
The plane departed Daytona en route to Lakeland before witnesses reported seeing it oscillate, fall out of sight below the treeline and a subsequent plume of smoke.
