Washington - Recovery teams have recovered a ninth body after the collapse of a bridge spanning the Mississippi River in the city of Minneapolis-St. Paul, reports said Monday.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune said the body of a 20-year-old man was recovered the day before. The victim was from the state of Indiana and was driving across the bridge when it collapsed.
Four persons, including the man's mother, were still listed as missing from the accident, when a 140-metre-long section of the bridge collapsed during the late afternoon of August 1 during rush- hour traffic, sending vehicles plunging into the river.
