Ron Paul stunning Guy Fawkes Day millions raised

We have been tracking GOP candidate Ron Paul for a while here at Monsters and Critics, and apparently you online people have been too.
A landmark moment in online political fundraising was made on Nov. 5, 2007. The Doctor from Texas, known by his peers as "Dr. No" is gathering steam, not falling behind. Dr. Paul passed $4 million in online fundraising in less than 24 hours.
As we previously reported, Dr. Paul raised just over $5 million in the most recent fundraising quarter, which ended September 30.
That campaign has set an official goal of raising $12 million between Oct.1 and the end of 2007.
As of midnight Sunday, Nov. 4, the Paul campaign claimed to have raised $2.77 million. New totals released have the raise currently at $4.2 million as of November 5.
Monday's drive was coordinated by an independent Web site but received the endorsement of Paul on the stump this week.
He told supporters at a rally in Columbia, S.C., that the mainstream media is more likely to pay attention if he raises more money.
Ron Paul's devoted believers chanted "Remember, Remember, the fifth of November," in their call to arms and cash.
How appropriate on Guy Fawkes day, a holiday celebrated or at least known by New Englanders (Pope's day).
Guy Fawkes it is the 17th-century crusader for Catholics rights caught in the basement of parliament with 36 barrels of gunpowder. He failed in his mission to blow the place up. The holiday is celebrated all over Britain, Scotland, and New Zealand still.
ABC News interviewed Trevor Lyman, the man behind the Web site "Televising the Revolution."
He said the idea sprang up when he saw someone propose a mass one-day online fundraising drive in a Ron Paul meetup group. The date Nov. 5 corresponded with the movie "V for Vendetta" and the Guy Fawkes rhyme.
"If you look at the pop culture feel-good message of the movie," Lyman said, "the people in the end say we are the deciders. That's the best way to describe it. And this is a country of and by the people."
"The entire notion of Bush saying he is the decider when 70 or 80 percent of the country wants out of the war is ridiculous. He acts like a dictator."
And that, said Lyman, is why he supports Paul, who is uncompromising and strict in his support of the Constitution, as literally as possible to the way it is written.
"I like some things about Republican ideals, but it goes back to the Constitution for me," Lyman said, still in line for his coffee. "And those ideals are all about small government, even if the party in recent years has not been," he said.

Fox News just had this story posted at 11:20, then promptly removed it. I have a print screen of the article hailing the Paul camp's 4.2 million dollar triumph!
And it keeps going up every minute. I wouldn't be surprised if Paul reaches 15 to 20 million by the end of the 4th quarter.

I am so proud of you Dr. Paul! You remind me of my dear Grandpa who fought for this country and for my freedom. I come from a military family and support Ron Paul for President. He has inspired me to become involved in my community, city, and state! It is important to understand why our country is so unique. The fact that cities and states can be autonomous from the federal government is radical! Since hearing Ron Paul's message I have decided to run for city council in my town next year.

I will remember this November 5th as a magnificent day. Ron Paul, raised over $4.3 million in one day contributions from over 38,000 supporters to bring his total Q4 contributions to over $7.1 million.
Ron Paul is #1 in the straw polls and all internet polls. He will soon be #1 in votes as well, but he will never be #1 in the manipulated telephone polls.
I believe 38,000 people gave money for freedom, liberty, peace and prosperity. The Ron Paul R[EVOL]UTION is NOW!

Note that the Huckabee campaign took down their realtime donations graphic out of embarrassment today.
The groundswell of support is just beginning. What the 'mainstream' media fail to understand about this phenomenon is that it's about the *message* more than the messenger. Dr. Paul is a wonderful person, don't get me wrong. But it's the message he's delivering that is setting the public's imagination on fire! Just imagine - a government that actually follows the Constitution!

Guy Fawkes day is celebrated because the guy fought corruption in government, and won the support of the people for it.

Ron Paul has, simply, come out and told people what he believes. Outside of his congressional earmarks, his voting record, pretty much reflects his views. The result is an outpouring of trust, for no other reason than these folks simply trust him.
This is what we would like others to believe is the true face of Neoconservatism. Neoconservatives, were born of LIBERALS in the 1960s! That's why they are branded NEO-conservatives.
Ron Paul is, essentially, a true conservative, at least in so many ways!

I was a frustrated Democrat trying to choose between Kucinich and Richardson until I found about this guy through the money thing. He calls himself a Libertarian but he strikes me as what I am: a Center Moderate American disgusted by liberals and terrified by conservatives, and angered by what both equally fascist cadres have done to my country and its Constitution. I read Paul's platform on Wikipedia and am stunned; I haven't seen this kind of common sense since reading American Revolution history books as a child and studying the Founding Fathers. Surely they are behind this man. I am voting for Ron Paul.

PS, Ron Paul campaign: I am female, 30-something and African-American. Cite this in your demographics research and mention other supportive black voters should the traitorous media try to smear this candidate as a racist. They'll bring out everything in the book against him because they have real reason to fear him. He'll treat them as the Founders would have treated them, once he's in office -- and personally, I can hardly wait to see it come down.

This is a great article. I like it because it shows that America does have some remnant of Free Speech left over from the Constitutional Days. You know, the Golden Era when Americans were above lowering themselves to overseas empire, torture, and genocide. Ron Paul is a fan of this article too. He is concerned that Americans access to articles like this could become more difficult if the internet were ever to be regulated by the same folks who regulate the TV news. He’s even voted against it. On November 5th I gave money to him for those past votes of his. On Veterans day I’ll be paying him again with the hope that in the future, when our soldiers come home from Iraq and elsewhere, that they will find we who stayed at home did not lose grasp of the Civil Liberties which they bleed overseas to defend. You should consider this.

pouring tens of billions of American taxpayers dollars in to bloodsucking
states such as Egypt,Isreal,and Pakistan to name a few.. and redirect these billions into, Eco Friendly Cities..Dignified Heath for all..Modern Rapid Transit Systems..Plus energy support program's such as Solar and Wind.
