(M&C) - Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton swept today's Florida primary, beating her nearest rival, Barack Obama, by a wide margin.

However the result was anti-climactic due to the Democratic National committee's decision to strip the state of its delegates for bringing the primary vote forward.

Neverthless Sen. Clinton rode the support of women voters, Latinos and the elderly to gain an important psychological boost going into next week's Super Tuesday.

"I am so grateful to the countless Floridians who, on their own, organized, worked hard, talked to your friends and your neighbors. You made a very big difference," Clinton said.

"I am convinced that with this resounding vote, with the millions of Americans who will vote next Tuesday, we will send a clear message that America is back, and we will take charge of our destiny once again," she added.

Both Mr Obama and third placegetter John Edwards skipped campaigning in the state to concentrate efforts elsewhere and the Obama camp portrayed the result as a draw -- with neither side gaining delegates.

Analysts have suggested that the result in Florida would've been far closer had Obama and Edwards campaigned in the state.

Where's Noharness gone? Nothing heard since the Heathrow crash and his claim that it was lack of fuel. Perhaps he's preparing his apology for being wrong.
Just to help him - a couple of days ago, it was officially stated that both engines were running at the time of impact - and as far as I know, even Boeing haven't developed engines which run without fuel

We sure do need Hilary to take back this Country and get the USA in the black again, we need to make an Exit plan and end the War this year 2008

We will go down even more with John McCane, this guy will do the same thing as Bush would do if he could stay another term.

Save this great Country, Hilary 2008
