The way Barrack lashes out at people makes it seem very unlikely he will be a unifier. If he cannot find a way to respond any better than that to such mild criticism what will he do when our enemies really come after us? He may actually appease them. I can see him being that confused.
McCarthyism is here! Terrorists, or anyone that look like them or don't want to kill em, are the new commie. If you ain't for killing terrorists, as defined by Bush, not defined by law, then you are one of them. This is mainstream McCarthyism brewing at the top levels of the U.S. government.
Didn't the Congress just approve funding for counter-terrorism against Iran? Where is Obama on that? This is all just lip service and posturing. The real issues never get covered.
And Obama is going to bury most Americans alive with his tax increases - increases in social security - increases in income taxes - and all this even for those of us who are not even within reach of being able to buy a home.
If you read the book Class Matters and also the book Free Lunch you can read all about how the middle class and especially the upper middle class is the most taxed group there is. The standard of life has gone down and now we can't even afford a home. But we are having to pay for every one else to get subsidized.
I want to see the poor get help but not on the backs of those who do not even own a home themselves. That is wrong. THis has never happened before that we have had a Democratic nominee propose such a thing.
But it will be the middle and upper middle classes that get buried alive by Obama.
Do not vote for him. He has repeatedly said he will do this. He is so out of touch with working people and it isn't just blue collar workers, it's most of us he is oblivious to.

Bush and McCain criticising Obama's preference for diplomacy over belligerency does not surprise. Bush failed America and the world by using lies to go to war and create a human catastrophe in Iraq. That was Barack Obama, a couple of weeks back, explaining why he was casting the Rev. Jeremiah Wright into outer darkness. It's one thing to wallow in 'adolescent grandiosity' (as Scott Johnson of the Powerline Web site called it) when it's a family dispute between you and your pastor of 20 years. It's quite another to do so when it's the 60th anniversary celebrations of one of America's closest allies.
President Bush was in Israel the other day and gave a speech to the Knesset. Its perspective was summed up by his closing anecdote – a departing British officer in May 1948 handing the iron bar to the Zion Gate to a trembling rabbi and telling him it was the first time in 18 centuries that a key to the gates of the Jerusalem was in the hands of a Jew. In other words, it was a big-picture speech, referencing the Holocaust, the pogroms, Masada – and the challenges that lie ahead. Sen. Obama was not mentioned in the text. No Democrat was mentioned, save for President Truman, in the context of his recognition of the new state of Israel when it was a mere 11 minutes old.
Nonetheless, Barack Obama decided that the president's speech was really about him, and he didn't care for it. He didn't put it quite as bluntly as he did with the Rev. Wright, but the message was the same: 'That's enough. That's a show of disrespect to me.' And, taking their cue from the soon-to-be nominee's weirdly petty narcissism, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Joe Biden and Co. piled on to deplore Bush's outrageous, unacceptable, unpresidential, outrageously unacceptable and unacceptably unpresidential behavior.

'Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. The problem Barack Obama is stuck with - whether he likes it or not, and he doesn't - is that during this campaign he did in fact say, and moreover did in fact say several times, that as President he would be entirely willing to sit down with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other rogues with no preconditions whatsoever.

Nothing that was inappropriate when speaking to the elected officials of a country that is surrounded by genocidal anti-Semites who have vowed its destruction - among them Ahmadinejad, who intends to attain nuclear weapons to get the job done.
And nothing, let it be noted, that specifically cited Obama, or anyone else, by name. Bush might easily have been talking about warm and fuzzy Jimmy Carter, who lately did such a swell job of winning over the hearts and minds of Hamas.
Ah, but Obama has said he would treat unconditionally with Ahmadinejad, that's a problem.
And so he emphatically replies that certainly he'll be tough on those Holocaust-denying, death-to-Israel-hoping, nuke-seeking Iranians, isolating them until they give up their doomsday desires. Isolation in this case, though, wouldn't count a meeting with President Obama. Which is not really very severe isolation at all. What is the man talking about?
Until the Iranians relent on their crazed aspirations, Tehran poses an existential threat to the Jewish state. Obama pledges he'll always be with Israel. But it's not Israel that's causing him so much trouble. It's his own insufficiently formulated thinking.

Barack Obama met secretly with a controversial Imam this week in Michigan.
Imam Hassan Qazwini has hosted Louis Farrakhan at his mosque and is close to the Hezbollah Spiritual Leader who issued the fatwa to blow up 300 U.S. Marines and embassy officials in 1983.

Imam Hassan Qazwini met privately with Senator Barack Obama this week in Michigan. The Detroit Free Press reported:
A Muslim leader from Dearborn met privately with Sen. Barack Obama during his Wednesday visit to Michigan.
Imam Hassan Qazwini, head of the Islamic Center of America, said in an email that he met with Obama at Macomb Community College. A mosque spokesman, Eide Alawan, confirmed that the meeting took place. During the meeting, the two discussed the Presidential election, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and the Iraq war, according to Qazwini.
At the end of the meeting, Qazwini said he gave Obama a copy of new book, “American Crescent,” (his book on why Islam is good for America) and invited Obama to visit his center.
The meeting with Obama came about after Qazwini had asked David Bonior, the former U.S. Rep. from Michigan, if he could meet with Obama during his visit. Qazwini was not selected to be part of a group of 20 people who met with Obama, but Qazwini later got a private meeting with Obama, Alawan said.

Here we have one of the most unnoticed Mullah promoters, someone who is allegedly a member of the Mullahs secret agent network (VEVAK), now living in the U.S. and said to be working in brainwashing people in Dearborn, on behalf of the terrorist regime of Iran, meeting with Obama. Look at the picture Lance: Obama is beating a lifetime political machine, arguably the best organized in US history. There is no one who knows more about campaigning than the Clintons, with maybe the exception of Karl Rove, and he's on the sidelines this time.
Obama, Lance, beat all the others to this point, has undermined his opponent, out-fundraised her in the small donations sector even though she has all the big doners, stripped her support in plainly Clinton strongholds, all with Hilary having the better machine. Any reasonable person would have to conclude this is just not money or dumb luck.
The man has something libnazi's like, plain and simple. Take a look at this guys resume': he grabbed power in the US Seenate, arguably one of the most powerful positions in US Government, when he saw a window, correctly measured the demographics, all in one swoop. If luck is opportunity meeting preperation, this guy had the smarts to see it and act swiftly. Even if he loses, and it looks less likely every day, he's done a stellar job, and is still politically survivable.
So before you broad brush this guy, try looking, without your morose-colored glasses, at the real picture.
Obama should also be striking back at Huckabee after his disgusting remark at the NRA convention, and H is supposed to be a so-called preacher. He is quoted on Meet The Press that it was a dumb remark. Well, I've got news for him, it went way beyond dumb. He needs to be muzzled, and we can all thank our lucky stars he fell out of the race when he did when everyone realized what a joke he was! I'm tired of these public figures spouting off crap, then apologizing for it. If they aren't smart enough to think before they speak then maybe they aren't capable of a leadership. Well, Shar, after the Penn. primaries and Obama's foot-in-mouth comment stereotyping rural America as gun-toting religous zealots, I'm forced to agree. If Huckabee can put his foot in his mouth, Obama has the God-Given right to do it too!
