Washington - Democratic Party presidential primary elections got underway Tuesday in the southern state of Kentucky, a few hours ahead of a further primary vote, in the north-western state of Oregon, in the ongoing battle between Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama for their party's nomination.

Clinton, 60, was clearly favoured to win in Kentucky, while the 46-year-old Obama was seen as leading in Oregon, according to the latest polls before the voting.

Even if Clinton were to win both states, she was unlikely to make much of a dent in Obama's overall lead in the delegate count.

Clinton, who represents New York state in the US Senate, is about 200 delegates behind Obama - Senator from Illinois - in the state-by- state primary contests, with 103 delegates up for grabs in Tuesday's vote. After Tuesday, only three more primaries remain until June 3.

A strong showing by Obama on Tuesday would mean he could capture a majority of all delegates for the Democratic nomination, but would still fall short of the 2,025 needed to seal his candidacy for the November 4 presidential election.

'We will have a majority of the pledge delegates,' Obama said on ABC television. 'Obviously we won't have completed the nomination process, but I think it's an important milestone for our campaign.'

Clinton has vowed to fight on until all votes have been counted, pledging to stay in the race at least until June 3, when Montana and South Dakota cast the final ballots of the campaign.

Obama is just another cheap politician.May 20th, 2008 - 19:07:56

' What has Obama done to you?'

Obama is a corrupt incompetent who owes resents America and owes his position to the likes of George Soros whose stated goal is to end the USA's status as a superpower.

Other then that...

----------------------------------------------------------

There is nothing more disgusting than the messiaonic message that much of the media is delivering concerning Obama’s widespread appeal. We have been bombarded by this belief that Obama transcends the traditional mold of a politician and than it is his 1.5 million person database, free from corporate and lobbyist influence that has contributed to his record breaking donations. Obama has tried to paint John McCain, with the willing help of some media outlets, as an old style politician; a kickback to the political ties to corporate money and lobbyist pandering.

Obama is the poster boy for his “New Democratic Coalition”, uninfluenced by lobbyists and big corporations. In November 2007 at Des Moines, IA., Obama stated: ““I am in this race to tell the corporate lobbyists that their days of setting the agenda in Washington are over. I have done more than any other candidate in this race to take on lobbyists — and won. They have not funded my campaign, they will not run my White House, and they will not drown out the voices of the American people when I am president.”

Like everthing about the Obama campaign, it is nothing more than smoke-and-mirrors. Mr. Obama, you’re running a presidential campaign, your donor information is public record!

Let’s take a quick look at where your money came from:
Total Donations as of April 20th: $234.7 Million from over 1.5 million contributors.

Of this amount around $130.6 million (approximately 60%) came from only 117,300 contributors, $50 million more dollars than the total contributions to the McCain campaign. So where did this enormous amount of money come from? After all, isn’t it corporate and lobbyists that are funding the McCain and Clinton campaigns. Hmm…

Oops, I remember. I remember speech after speech of Mr. Obama speaking of the economic crisis and housing crisis. You know the housing crisis caused by greed and corruption within Wall Street Investment firms and banks supported by the policies of Bush and McCain.

Let’s take a look at where Obama’s money has come from:

Top Contributors by employer:

Goldman Sachs: Obama - $544,000
McCain - $128,000

UBS: Obama - $363,000
McCain - $82,000

JP Morgan Chase: Obama: $353,000
McCain: $123,000

Citigroup: Obama: $331,000
McCain: $206,000

Lehman Brothers: Obama - $312,000’
McCain - $98,000

Time Warner: Obama - $245,000

Financial/Banking Industry Totals: Obama $16.9 Million / McCain $10 Million

Interesting how the very executives and companies that Obama is going to reform seem to be flocking to him during this campaign. But wait, perhaps it’s a fluke? So let’s take a look at where Obama received his money over the past 5 years.

Top Campaign Contributors since 1989 (Or 2004 if for Barack Obama)

Goldman Sachs: Obama - $535,000
McCain - $211,000

JP Morgan Chase: Obama - $346,000
McCain - $118,000

UBS: Obama $315,000
McCain - $107,000

Citigroup: Obama $281,000
McCain - $230,000

Financial/Banking Industry Totals: Obama - $16 Million / McCain - $11.7 Million

Interestingly enough, these statistics are the total contributions received since 1989. Incredibly, the irresponsible and predatory Wall Street investment firms have contributed more to Obama in 5 years than they have too McCain over the past 19 years. Hmm…

Alas, I’ve got it, McCain is the poster child for lobbyists and political action committees. After all, they have contributed more to the McCain Campaign, Right??? Not necessarily, who represents Lobbying groups and PAC’s on capital hill? Lawyers!

During this presidential campaign Barack Obama has received more than $15 million in contributions from Lawyers and Lobbyists; McCain on the other hand has received only $5 million in contributions. If fact, not including during their senatorial campaigns, Obama received more than $14 million versus McCains $4.5 million. (Again, those figures are based upon all US congressional campaigns since 1989)

I’VE GOT IT, McCain is a pawn of big oil and energy conglomerates responsible for taking advantage of the American public. But wait, the Energy sector has given the Obama campaign around $1 million dollars this election, the same amount they have contributed to McCain’s Campaign. And over the past 5 years Obama’s senatorial campaigns have received $938,000 from energy companies versus McCains 19 year intake of $1.29 million.

The Obama Campaign taughts this 1.5 million contributor base as some special and magical grass roots movement to support his magically delicious agenda of change. The reality is that the wealthy and elite of this country, are flocking to Obama at a far faster pace than they ever have to John McCain or Hillary Clinton.

But I’m sure that they don’t expect any favorable treatment from their inflated contributions in the past and inflated contributions today. I’m sure that the “messiah”, the great savior of the middle class would never allow their money to influence him; and I’m sure that ObaMSNBC will point out Obama’s real contributors on Countdown.

Wake Up! Obama is just another politician, an elquant speaker that will say whatever he believes the populous wants to hear, so that he can advance his personal power.

I sincereloy hope that this kind of repulsive manner of conducting political debate will turn against those that use it .one should remember that what is at stake is your future, and the future of your children .Health care, climate change are the most urgent issues that need to be adressed .Untill now the only republican point of view on these matters wa lashing out at Michael Moore and Al Gore for presenting the facts to the american public .What a shame ,you all deserve better .

The fact is: Billions of dollars spent on presidential elections and it is still a crap shot. If you believed a candidate then all you would have to do is read his/her position paper on their web site. But, in reality there is no telling what lurks behind these people until it is too late. The money spent campaigning is not for informing people, it is to pay off the system and make cronies.

I’m nervous because too many Obama-philes sound like Moonies, or Hare Krishnas, or the Hale-Bopp-Is-Coming-To-Get-Me nuts.

These true believers “Obama-ize” everything. They speak Obama-ese. Knit for Obama. Run for Obama. Gamble - Hold ’Em Barack! - for Obama. They make Obama cakes, underwear, jewelry. They send Valentine cards reading, “I want to Barack your world!”

At campaign rallies people scream, cry, even faint as Obama calmly calls for the EMTs. When supporters pant en masse, “I love you!” (like The Beatles, circa 1964), Barack says, “I love you back” with that deliciously charming, almost cocky smile.

Oh - I’m nervous because it’s all gone to his head and he hasn’t even won yet.

I’m nervous because it’s gone to a lot of other people’s heads as well. Maryland Congressman Elijah Cummings introduced Obama last week in Baltimore and said, “This is not a campaign for president of the United States, this is a movement to change the world.”

“He walks into a room and you want to follow him somewhere, anywhere,” says George Clooney.

“I’ll do whatever he says to do,” says actress Halle Berry. “I’ll collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear.”

I’m nervous because nobody’s quite sure what Obama stands for, even his supporters. (“I can’t wait to see,” said actress/activist Susan Sarandon, declaring full support nonetheless).

I’m nervous because even his biggest fans can’t name Obama’s accomplishments, including Texas state Sen. Kirk Watson, an Obama-man who humiliated himself when MSNBC’s Chris Matthews asked him about five times to name something, anything, Obama’s done. Watson hemmed. Watson hawed. Watson gave up.

I’m nervous because John McCain says Obama’s is “an eloquent but empty call for change” and in the wee, wee hours, a nagging voice whispers, suppose McCain’s right, too? Then what?

their elections results page. I suppose because they do not want people to see that Hillary won the popular vote.

I'd love to see someone ask Obama how he explains getting over 10% more of the delgates when he has never held even a 1% lead over Senator Clinton.

I will vote for McCain just to vote for deadlock. I can't vote for Obama's tax increases which would bury us alive. Plus he stole the election. And that's not even getting into how much I dislike him.

But I can vote so that the Dems and Reps cannot pass any legislation or do much of anything, and with McCain in the white house and dems controlling both houses, it will be gridlock.

And that is a good thing.

That is why Obama had to stage another big declaration of a milestone event to try to cover up the fact that we voted for Hillary, we want Hillary.

And all those blow hard DNC people like Donna Brazille, I'd like to slap her every time she says that Florida and Michigan broke the rules.

Why does the DNC allow the the loser (Obama) to get more delegates? Why isn't that breaking the rules?

Why is it not required that the delegates be alloted proportionately?

But noooo, punish the citizens of Florida and Michigan instead of making sure that the loser can't steal the election. *%#@**!!!

Reasons And Ways You Should Reject Barack Obama!May 20th, 2008 - 23:06:53

hyper-educated-uppity-woman.blogspot.com

It is true that I am only one person. So are you. But.....
.....
The interesting thing about being One Person is there are a LOT of us!
So it's time for all of us to be heard and heard well!!!

We must reject Barack Obama. Get up out of your chairs and yell I am Mad As Hell And I am Not Going To Take This Anymore!

If you are a woman who has ever witnessed sexual discrimination or sexist remarks, who understands that this behavior is designed to marginalize and subjugate women, both socially and in the workplace, then you already know that. Barack Obama has shown to be the kind of man who is comfortable with this kind of disprespectful behavior. This is a strong reason why you should reject Barack Obama, for he is clearly the most sexist, misogynist candidate most of us have seen in decades. For the future of young women who don't realize the subtle and not-so-subtle signs of losing the rights that were gained bit by bit, you should reject Barack Obama. Like me, some of you Remember the fight for women to gain respect in the Workplace. We recognize the subtle signs that endanger the future of our beloved daughters--even if they are too young to notice themselves.

If you realize that Barack Obama is an Axelrod Media Creation, whose words do not come from his heart, but instead are fraudulent regurgitations of the successful Axelrod-Deval Patrick campaign, you should reject Barack Obama.

If you have noticed that Barack Obama has cleverly entranced the children with the chants, orchestrated rock-like rallies to fire children up, sleek and sexy videos --- deliberately transforming himself into their charismatic False Messiah, you should reject Barack Obama. This has been done before with the Youth of another time and another place, and Barack Obama must be rejected for his spell upon our young people who have no way of recognizing the method.

If you are totally disgusted at the way in which the Democratic Primary has been deliberately manipulated the Democratic primary against Hillary Clinton, you should reject Barack Obama.

If you are totally disgusted with the back room dealings of Howard Dean, Donna Brazile, Ted Kennedy and the DNC, you must send them a message and reject Barack Obama.
.
If you have winced at the behaviors of power-abusing enablers such as Jack Cafferty ('send her home to bake cookies'), Keith Olberman ('take her in a room and only he comes out'), Glen Beck ('It cries') and Chris Matthews ('she's only here because her husband messed around') you should reject Barack Obama.

If you are a person who is concerned about Obama's dubious and very disconcerting Middle Eastern relationships with and ties to PLO members, Iraqi prison escapees and countries that sponsor and harbor terrorists who despise America, you should reject Barack Obama. If you find it disconcerting that Barack Obama has an election call center in Gaza City staffed with 'volunteers' who make cold calls to American primary voters, you should reject Barack Obama. If you find it disconcerting that terrorists publicly endorse him with a wink , then you should reject Barack Obama.

If you think a President should not have helped a now indicted criminal to bilk the poor and turn off their heat, while receiving $100,000,000 in grants and tax credits to do so, then you should reject Barack Obama

If you find it offensive that Louis Farrakhan refers to Barack Obama as a 'savior,' or that a Hamas endorsement of Barack Obama is more than a bit suspicious, you should reject Barack Obama.

If you think that a President should not have his political career launched by known domestic terrorists who horrified America with their 'Declaration of A State of War', you should reject Barack Obama.

If you have counted up his numerous debunked life-story lies and mysterious gaffs (see 57 States of Islam), you should reject Barack Obama.

If you have noticed his unprofessional behavior toward others, including brushing his opponent off his shoulders and childishly giving his opponent the finger in speeches to cheering sycophants, you should reject this infantile, sarcastic and unprofessional man.

If you find Michelle Obama to be the nastiest, most America-Hating Thing, you have ever imagined would want to be the First Lady, and if you take offense to Michelle Obama calling America 'Just downright mean,' you should reject Barack Obama.

If, after all this time, you still don't quite know what he specifically means by his chant for 'hope and change,' and if you still really have no idea what this man has ever accomplished, or what his intentions are for America, you should reject Barack Obama.

If you are completely disgusted by the behaviors of Barack Obama supporters who mimic Barack Obama's clear example of disrespect for Hillary Clinton and her female supporters, you should reject Barack Obama.

If you live in Florida or Michigan and have not only had your votes ignored, but have been brazenly blocked from re-voting by Barack Obama, you should reject Barack Obama.

'depleted' DOES mean inert and it IS NOT 'radioactive as hell' it is less radioactive then naturally occurring uranium, you idiot...

The last time I took a trip to the Balkins I was dragged out of grad school to go clean up after Europeeans who wouldn't stop a genocide against muslims, ironically. Depleted uranium is used VERY sparingly not because it is radioactive but because it is expensive. It is mostly used by tank crews and artillery. You simply do not have the slightest idea what you are talking about.

A little question to most above posters ?
What is the use of democracy if it is to divert important political issues into smear campaigns and insults ?What is the necessity of free speech i some of you are too lazy to analye political programs and hence approach politics if it it were a deatch match between good and evil ?
It appears all sense of proportions is being lost in the debate between the candidates ,comedy and absurdity are replacing common sense .What to think of discussions involving Obama being branded as the fifth comumn of islamist extremist?Excuse me ,is this serious ?
Why not get rid of such absurdities and concentrate on reality for a change, like the poor standards of health care in the USA compared to the rest of the civilized world .with the resources available to your economy tremendous progress could be achieved in improving the well being of your own population .All information and statistics coincide to indicate that your health system is only profitable to the insurance industry that exploits the needs of diseased people to enrich the top executives of the industry .Every insurance industry maximizes profit by paying out as little as possible to as little as possible ill people .You can't seriously claim that kind of system is superiour to a system where everybody contributes for the benefit of all .Dramatic situations like people losing their home can easily be avoided by universal health care .But then of course that involves that the richest part of the population pays for the poorest part .Perfect to me but an anathema to some of you .
Yet ,if you claim the USa stands for more than just being allowed to spout absurd comments on,like the pretended islamist character of Obama (of course he is not ...),you have to start proving that you stand for these shared values by caring for the poorest of you .
And don't give me that crap that everybody has equal chances in your society .That kind of lies is even difficult to sell to your most ignorant retarded audience .Spare yourself the embarrassment of using that kind of arguments .Like wise forget the silly arguments that we should be grateful for saving our asses during WW1 and 2 .none of you has anything to do with that ,neither did I .That kind of arguments is for those of you that have nothing more substantive to say .
Meanwhile feel free to contribute to the real debate .Either provide statistics and arguments indicating the superiority of let's say your corporate health cares versus ours nor start thinking to improve on such issues .In the name of your own interest.

'like the pretended islamist character of Obama (of course he is not ...)'

But, that is the problem with the election system: Candidates say one thing and do another. No one is certain who they are. If they become president then they turn into something different than what they were when they were candidates. I think many people are scared as hell that Obama is a closet muslim, or at least a muslim sympathizer.

Well Tonny, sorry to disappoint but, because our Declaration has those critical words 'life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness' we are very independent about what we do with our time here.

Now, like many, you may think we are some kind of underachievers but we did manage to:

Free ourselves from the Eurotrash monarchs you embraced for another 100 years

Sat down for the first time in the worlds history and decided, democratically, what kind of government we were going to have

Settled a nation

Built the Transcontinental Railroad

Settled Slavery on the battlefield (hows that for solving a problem?) that europeans started here. Thanks a pantload

DID help your asses out of WWI, due to those monarchs you never threw off, like we did

Did help your asses out of WWII, a war you ignored until it came to your door (golly, THAT sounds familiar)

NEVER perpetrated the holocaust you guys did on any ethnic group.

WON the cold war and provide security for you EVERY day after.

PROPOSED the United Nations, in the blind hope it would take some of the babysitting work off our hands ( I think we f--ked up on this one)

Yes Tonny, we underachievers here in America managed, on top of all that, to invent, in our spare time, the telephone, electric light, the airplane, Nuclear power, the Nuclear ship, mass produced autos, mass production, modern research and development, Broke the sound barrier, hold the speed, altitude and time coursed aviation records, flew across the Atlantic Ocean, unrefueled around the world, put a man on the moon, created the microprocesser, cured Polio, the interstate highway system, created life saving AIDS drugs, built the Personal Computer, built the Internet, and created windows.

So before you cough up your lunch over America , take a look at the list one more time. I wouldn't fret Tonny, we've been picking leaders this way for 225 years and, with all of it's drawbacks, we seem to get the job done just fine without the braying of frightened little socialist propagandists, like you.

'NEVER perpetrated the holocaust you guys did on any ethnic group.'

Actually, you are wrong on that. The holocaust (genocide) on the American Indian ethnic groups and nations was incredibly more successful than that of the Germans on the Jews.

'Settled Slavery on the battlefield'

That is not true. The south tried to secede and as a result the north killed southerners in a rampage that makes Saddam's use of WMD look like a well contained downing of an insurrection. Slavery was an afterthought.

'Built the Transcontinental Railroad'

A good example of how when the U.S. government gives other people's land away for free then the greed of the U.S. can accomplish anything. When the first Transcontinental Railroad was built it was done with such greed that it needed to be immediately rebuilt because the railroad barons were out for free (American Indian Nations) land, not a running railroad.

You need to be more introspective.

'Sat down for the first time in the worlds history and decided, democratically, what kind of government we were going to have'

It really saddens me to know that a vast amount of U.S. citizens are caught up in their own propaganda to the point that previous generations can commit (what is considered the 2nd most successful) genocide and present day citizens can't even figure it out.

And that they do not know of the splendors of the Magna Carta and respect other civilizations for their achievements as well as acknowledge their failures.

DU is NOT inert you idiot. It is depleted, not inert. During Gulf War I, approximately 380 tons of solid uranium were shot off. In the war in Iraq, estimates by experts are that we shot between 1,000 to 2,000 tons of DU. This is just the solid uranium component.
That is real, boy. If you think DU is inert then I suggest you take a slug and put it on a chain and wear it around your neck.

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME $

These petty arguments, slurs, insulting remarks and completely unnecessary twaddle have been going on for months. It all amounts to bar-room chatter about a local bun-fight.

What a meaningless exercise of literary rubbish. The Democrats have made such a horrific, astonishing and illogical choice, resulting in an insult to the American people. One cannot imagine a party strategic planning machine going so wrong.

Who the hell cares what candidates the Democratic Party choose to be their Presidential nominee ? It may as well be Mickey Mouse. In fact, come to think about it, Mickey Mouse would be a better choice, since everybody likes HIM.

The price of gasoline is astronomically more important than some insignificant idiot being put up by the Democrats for President.

All this M&C bickering is pointless. OK it provides us with an amusing hobby, but voting for irrelevant party glory seekers is quite different to voting for a President, where it DOES MATTER - your very lives and welfare depend on the peoples choice. Sink or swim by it.

When November comes, the idiotic, insulting and astonishing selection of the Democratic Party for Presidential office will bury them as a credible party for years.

They have in effect committed political suicide and ensured that the Republicans become the only party of respected politics in all America.

Miraculously by this Democratic stupidity they have guaranteed a 100% turnout by the Republicans and probably a 30% defection of their own disenchanted voters, come crunch time in November.

McCain will be elected as President by the biggest majority any previous campaign has ever seen in American history. A LANDSLIDE VICTORY !
----------------------------------------------------------------------< br /> BE PROUD OF YOUR HISTORY

Ever since the first settlers set foot on American soil in 1607 - they were actually almost all British - Americans have overcome extreme hardships and fought to develop our society of today over hundreds of years, much of it won in blood, guts, sweat and tears.

In all this remarkable history of establishing a free and powerful country from a wilderness, there is NOT ONE single instance over all these hundreds of years where an American icon, either in war or politics has been either a WOMAN or a BLACK.

I am not interested in public squabbles like Civil Rights or parking offences and I could not give a damn about discrimination, I am talking about primary hard-won American historical events leading to the great, powerful and free nation we have today.

AND now what do we do ? Enact some Hollywood script and offer the nation either a WOMAN or a BLACK !!!!!

Where is the WHITE MAN ? Do I sense the dreaded racial discrimination ?

A person selected to appease some stupid man-made discrimination twaddle above those better suited for a job, is a recipe for disaster.

All Hollywood scripts MUST have a White man, a Black man, a Woman and a Parrot. OK, the Parrot is missing, although it would almost certainly do better than the two fools being trundled around at the moment.

Why is the Democratic Party desecrating our proud history by going against all proven logic and trying to play some impractical appeasing game on such an important issue ?

DO NOT let radical risk-takers and gutless appeasers gamble with America and destroy a historically proven winning formula. It has happened in other countries and resulted in the destruction of national traditions and hard earned successful policies.

Once you start to dissect a countries hard won benefits against the tide of historic success - IT BECOMES IRREVERSIBLE.

DO NOT LET IT HAPPEN HERE ! VOTE REPUBLICAN, DO NOT ROCK THE BOAT.

'NEVER perpetrated the holocaust you guys did on any ethnic group.'

Actually, you are wrong on that. The holocaust (genocide) on the American Indian ethnic groups and nations was incredibly more successful than that of the Germans on the Jews.

SP4 - No Lance, you are wrong. Take another look, Lance. We may have oppressed Indians, but we never hearded them up, by the millions, into gas chambers and ovens, via mass-produced methods like the euros did, with collaborators in every euro nation, or did sadistic experiments on them. On this, even a reasonable person would have to conclude you are simply full of crap.

'Settled Slavery on the battlefield'

That is not true. The south tried to secede and as a result the north killed southerners in a rampage that makes Saddam's use of WMD look like a well contained downing of an insurrection. Slavery was an afterthoughtt.

SP4 - wrong again Lance. Slavery was started BEFORE we were a republic. It was listed as THE reason for secession, by Jefferson Davis!. We debated it for 90 years, before it split our nation apart. On this I am afraid you win the 'I don't have a f--king clue' award.

SP4 - wrong again, Lance. We purchased most of that land from sovereign governments, or won it on the battlefield, after making good faith efforts to avoid conflict, a virtually unknown concept to the rest of the world, at the time. It was built by West Point - educated engineers and sanctioned by the US government, a soverign power. it was little different than what Britain did in India, Africa, and countless other places.

Yes, I learned these facts in the U.S. secondary school system, and later from history books. I know that the U.S. school system is screwed up, but not that much. And those nasty history books, just propaganda toys I suppose. Probably need to burn them like in Fahrenheit 451.

In THIS Kentucky Derby we have two extremely poor quality, inexperienced NAGS racing, taking time immemorial to finish and the winner, after a sympathetic pat on the back, is destined for the knackers yard NOT to be applauded on a winners podium.

IT`S A CON TRICKMay 21st, 2008 - 19:43:47

Surely the Democratic Party have hundreds of candidates to select from when faced with a Presidential campaign.

OK, let us assume that out of their vast choice, 30 make the final.

NOW, if we have 30 balls in a hat and one is white and female and one is black and male, the probability of drawing out these two balls at random as in a lottery, must be colossal. May well be into 6 digits, but if not, it will border on a practical impossibility.

If any mathematical genius would like to work it out - fine - but it WILL be VERY highly IMPROBABLE.

So there we have it. The Democratic selection process, whatever it is, simply ignored the unique personal qualities a President MUST have and gutlessly with tail between legs, appeased the unnatural race and discrimination legal facades that contaminate our suffering society.

Luckily for our nation the Republicans do not resort to this kind of spineless activity and select candidates on ability and merit. Bending the selection rules to comply with some irresponsible restriction on choice, does not apply.

The USA has had a glorious history but no, contradicting it does not make you a terrorist. Apologizing for them, making excuses for their behavior, trying to create some kind of moral equivalence for their murderous rampages because they were done in the name of the same dogma that you believe in, that makes you almost as reprehensible.

Once you let them start exploring and drilling domestically, these profits will be reinvested, and, since we NEED THE OIL, BONEHEAD, everyone will benefit!

For 7 years, Bush has advocated more domestic resources in oil and gas. No matter what you think of Bush, or Cheney, on this issue he has been crystal clear: More domestic production would help us. More refining capacity is needed.

The dems reply? Bush favored the big oil companies. He's the antichrist. He stole an election from genius Al Gore, who can tell you precisly what the c02 content of the atmosphere is, but can't count votes in Florida.

Instead of helping, the dems stifled domestic oil production, tied up refinery construction, etc., while they fed it all to the Trial Lawyers. They invented global warming, because the auto mfr's virtually cleaned up carbon monoxide and they needed a new target. They object to your car, being too big, you driving too much, etc., but ignored the fact that America is a sparsely populated land withlarge distances to travel.

What did Bush do? Just what I would have:

Nothing. Why? Because Bush knows that, in the end, you're going to fix it, JUST like he suggested inthe first place.

You, folks, got yourselves here. You bought that big car, drove the crap outa it, while advocating, like Al Gore, for lifestyle change, as long as it was not YOUR lifestyle! Like Gore, you left a Gulfstream-supersized carbon footprint, made possible by the Saudi's oil, but mouthed conservation to your friends.

The dems? They ate it up. They let you be the pseudo-environazis, while they fly coast-to-coast in the Gulfstreams burning thousands of lbs. of carbon fuel per person, laughing behind your backs the WHOLW way! They have never offered you any realistic alternatives, but you STILL believe in them and Bush as the enemy.

Boo hoo. Cry me a river. You assholes are like little girls. You pouted about the environment, while you drank oil like a drunk. Bush?

He's either laughing uncontrollably at you, or looking at you in utter dismay at how illogical a citizen can actually be. Take your pick.

He let you be exactly what you wanted. After all, he's a Conservative, and let you be adults. Too bad you didn't live up to his expectations. If Bush has a shortcoming it was not bucking this to the public, but after all, he's only human, and besides...

You all knew the score...didn't you??? That's what I thought.

So get out your checkbooks, pick your candidate and be happy with your choice. You all got yourselves here.
