'San Francisco to vote on naming sewage plant after President Bush'

Yup, M&C is in full blown adolescent Trotskyite mode this evening.

San Francisco has become a giant cesspool so they might as well start calling sewage plants ''Francisco's.'

No, we don't hate America. We love America and make sure that those who would destroy this county are stopped. There have been terrible world leaders in the past. Is it too hard to think that the United States could have one?

There is nothing sacred about a person who is the president. In fact, others have been nearly-impeached on less country-destroying charges. The office of the president, however, is sacred to all of us.

Mark Twain: Loyalty to your county always. Loyalty to your government when it deserves it.

I wish San Francisco would learn to love the USA instead of constantly finding ways to degrade it. Nothing good comes from that place. Liberal Hippies and all the homosexuals can rest assured that everyone else in America hates you. Leave the country if you hate everything about it...and take Barry Bonds with you.

If we are to name things after Presidents... I think Clinton should get a brothel named after him because it would be funny, and a liberal media network of some sort ie. the times because they both can lie to the public with a smile. Seriously though....isn't name calling a little immature. But i guess that is what we as Americans can do with our freedom that we so often take for granted. Thank you PRESIDENT BUSH, and a LARGER thank you to our troops!

San Francisco! We can always tell when the homosexuals and their supportive liberal bu#$ buddies along with the commies and socialists are about to collapse. This is their last big gasp at their attempts to destroy the United States of America.

Actually, I think it is a good idea to name a sewage plant after President Bush. It will serve as reminder to the San Franfagos and the rest of the stinking scum soclialists that this President still reigns honorable and respectable as a defender of this Republic. You should also erect a large monument of George W. Bush high above your stinking cesspool, looking down on you faggot, midget minded low lifes. And, then, in the middle of the cesspool you can place a huge blow up doll likeness of SanFran Nan Pelosi.

Losers!

I used to look up to this city as a champion for human rights but now in the wake of trying to disrespect our President is going over the wall, cut it out and name a peace park after him or something not a sewage plant.......geez.

Sadly Bush doesn't agree with you. He did effectively make a statement that ended in gyouh recently to our troops in regards to the G.I bill but it wasn't gthankh.

Do you really want to support the troops? It's my understanding that the majority of ground soldiers are in fact not Matt Damon and Tom Hanks but are in reality boys from poor minority backgrounds with limited opportunities. That same colored boy with the loud music that you cursed for ruining the community before is now the kid getting shot up in Iraq while you gleefully support the man who sent him there.

These kids will need support when they return home but somehow I get the impression that you won't be there for them. More likely, some years from now you will see that same boy, now a man, homeless on the streets and think to yourself how slackers like him are ruining your community.

Are you really in favor of supporting them? Or exploiting them.

Nameing a sewage treatment plant after Bush seems an entirely fitting way to honour the worst president in US history. When the rest of the world is not stupified at his incredible incompetence, it is laughing at you. The fact that he is still in office is appalling; he should have been impeached long ago and both he and Cheney should have been prosecuted as the war criminals they are. Open your eyes.

I remember reading this in a local paper a while back.
That's right, I'm here in the Bay Area. And I understand the disgruntlement of all those from elsewhere around the country that GWB should get this... honor.
Really, I swear that we'll get around to naming a sewage plant after GHWB soon enough. And another for Reagan as soon as we can as well. We're sorry if you're upset about the order in which our sewage honors are bestowed, but priorities can shift as time passes... and GWB just seems THE MOST WORTHY at this time... and so he's jumped... to the head of the line, so to speak.
Don't worry... we'll do our best to even get around to naming a sewage plant after each of the Kansas Board of Education members who've decided Creationism should be taught as science.... Please be patient though, we only have so much sewage to go around...

I do not see why anything should be named after President George W. Bush. Even a sewage plant should have the name of the current governor of the state in which it is built. It is a public service facility and should be celebrated as such.

You all should've moved. Gotten the hell out. If you hate america as much as you do, and want to run it into the ground with the fascist ideas that barack obama has coming up.

100 years down the road george bush will be known as one of the best presidents (as he already is in time magazine's top 25 presidents). He is finally running a successful war. He had to deal with 9/11 as soon as he was put in office due to clinton's botched idea of no longer funding intelligence and military properly. HE didnt do it. This is not a conspiracy, you are a bunch of wack jobs. Just because you hate conservatives and hate george bush so much, you are willing to blame things on our own president, while half the middle east hates us so much because we ARE the best country in the world. Move.
