I suggest you get your mommy to wipe the pablum from your chin, the drool from your mouth and the mess from your overfull diaper. To fully clean the crap out of you I suggest you get an enema. Obama is a narcissistic child.Jul 23rd, 2008 - 10:07:29

The Audacity of Vanity

By Charles Krauthammer
Abridged:

Barack Obama wants to speak at the Brandenburg Gate. He figures it would be a nice backdrop. The supporting cast -- a cheering audience and a few fainting frauleins -- would be a picturesque way to bolster his foreign policy credentials.

What Obama does not seem to understand is that the Brandenburg Gate is something you earn. President Ronald Reagan earned the right to speak there because his relentless pressure had brought the Soviet empire to its knees and he was demanding its final 'tear down this wall' liquidation. When President John F. Kennedy visited the Brandenburg Gate on the day of his 'Ich bin ein Berliner' speech, he was representing a country that was prepared to go to the brink of nuclear war to defend West Berlin.

Who is Obama representing? And what exactly has he done in his lifetime to merit appropriating the Brandenburg Gate as a campaign prop? What was his role in the fight against communism, the liberation of Eastern Europe, the creation of what George Bush the elder -- who presided over the fall of the Berlin Wall but modestly declined to go there for a victory lap -- called 'a Europe whole and free'?

Does Obama not see the incongruity? It's as if a German pol took a campaign trip to America and demanded the Statue of Liberty as a venue for a campaign speech. (The Germans have now gently nudged Obama into looking at other venues.)

Americans are beginning to notice Obama's elevated opinion of himself. There's nothing new about narcissism in politics. Every senator looks in the mirror and sees a president. Nonetheless, has there ever been a presidential nominee with a wider gap between his estimation of himself and the sum total of his lifetime achievements?

Obama is a three-year senator without a single important legislative achievement to his name, a former Illinois state senator who voted 'present' nearly 130 times. As president of the Harvard Law Review, as law professor and as legislator, has he ever produced a single notable piece of scholarship? Written a single memorable article? His most memorable work is a biography of his favorite subject: himself.

It is a subject upon which he can dilate effortlessly. In his victory speech upon winning the nomination, Obama declared it a great turning point in history -- 'generations from now we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment' -- when, among other wonders, 'the rise of the oceans began to slow.' As Hudson Institute economist Irwin Stelzer noted in his London Daily Telegraph column, 'Moses made the waters recede, but he had help.' Obama apparently works alone.

After all, in the words of his own slogan, 'we are the ones we've been waiting for,' which, translating the royal 'we,' means: ' I am the one we've been waiting for.'

He lectures us that instead of worrying about immigrants learning English, 'you need to make sure your child can speak Spanish' -- a language Obama does not speak. He further admonishes us on how 'embarrassing' it is that Europeans are multilingual but 'we go over to Europe, and all we can say is 'merci beaucoup.' ' Obama speaks no French.

His fluent English does, however, feature many such admonitions, instructions and improvements. His wife assures us that President Obama will be a stern taskmaster: 'Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism . . . that you come out of your isolation. . . . Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.'

For the first few months of the campaign, the question about Obama was: Who is he? The question now is: Who does he think he is?

We are getting to know. Redeemer of our uninvolved, uninformed lives. Lord of the seas. And more. As he said on victory night, his rise marks the moment when 'our planet began to heal.' As I recall -- I'm no expert on this -- Jesus practiced his healing just on the sick. Obama operates on a larger canvas.

CNN Poll :-
McCain has lower ratings than Obama in every country surveyed except the U.S., where the two presumptive nominees run neck and neck.

Obama’s advantage over McCain is enormous particularly in France, Germany, and Australia, where the Illinois senator leads McCain by up to 51 percentage points.

Lol... So? Only American citizens have a say in who will be president of the USA..

'Obama’s advantage over McCain is enormous particularly in France, Germany, and Australia, where the Illinois senator leads McCain by up to 51 percentage points.'

The french have always resented the USA and they would like nothing more then to see it run in to the ground via the same, stupid socialist policies that the french drove their own country into the ground. Obama is just the person to do that.

Thankfully, the french don't get to vote in American Elections.

Barack Obama's 300 Spartans (Advisors)?

It seems that you claim to be truthful and advocate CHANGE, and yet you enlist 300 soldiers, (advisors) to give advice on 'as the world turns', is quite alarming. If you sir, need 300 paid advisors to help you make a decision then you have not done your homework. You have managed to create your own independent congress of people that are burning thru your $5.00 internet donations like sand thru an hour glass. It alarms me that if THEY decide to place you in that office, your staff would double?

If your 300 were like the Spartans and lead by a leader like King Leonidas , of which you are not, then your 300 advisors are justified.

But in this case they are not.

You wish to be the President of the United States of America, and yet you still lie, you hire an outrageous staff of succubus's that have their own interests, you do not attend to the poor, you are too concerned with keywords and false policy that fool those that really want CHANGE, you cannot stroll thru an American neighborhood unless you have your SS officers with you, not allowing Americans to protect you, you are so concerned that you will say the wrong thing, because you are not allowed to speak your own words, you have taken from the American people their hard earned $5.00 and given them nothing in return, you have no idea how big and deep the rabbit hole is that you have started to go down. The 300 Spartans defended their freedom and their Homeland, and you sir, are defending those that wish to rape the land and enslave Americans like Xeres attempted to do.

You are making policy on the run, without regard to the outcome, and we Americans will suffer for your mistakes and blunders.

These next four years will be yours, but the next four years after that will be for the American People.

CHANGE FOR AMERICA FOR AMERICANS!
The American Republic
A Sovereign Republic

No Andy, it shows that some people are so emotionally needy that they are willing to vote for someone who had the grand total of 143 days in the senate for the most important and difficult jobs on earth because they want to be liked by the europeans. The europeans will never like you Andy, they tend to not like each other or even themselves. They tend to be a petty lot that wants to see the USA dragged down to their level. So going to Harvard could be unbearable but come on...If anyone has suffered It would be John McCain. And honesty? Not Barry. Why, he can't even admit that the surge has worked. Just can't bring himself to say it. No honesty there. No, it's only white guilt that makes liberals swoon over Obama. He releases them from their guilt and they're all giddy over it. That is called racism; when the reason to vote for someone is based on his race. No matter if it's in his favor. It's still based on race. I'll never vote for a liberal..'I have a dream that one day my four little children will live in a nation when they will not be judged by the color of their skin BUT BY THE CONTENT OF THEIR CHARACTER'- Martin Luther King, Jr.

Republicans seem to have a problem that they haen't discovered yet .How can you pretend to be the defender of the world,a leader amongst nations when nobody in the rest of the world cares to agree with your politics .That is the problem Bush and no doubt McCain face in the rest of the world .Now you can say you don't care for the opinion of the rest of the world but then you have another problem :leadership .If nobody accepts your plans or cares to join you, leadership is plain absent .You are the leader of nothing .Diplomatic cooperation requires mutual acceptance, respect and above all intelligence .Obama has all that, partly .There is a lot of mutual disagreement between Europe and the USA,to solve that problem it takes good will and an open mind .
Nobody here would even dare to think that the experience gained as a fighter pilot is any good in leading an army, that is so absurd that there is no need to further elaborate on that .Only a neocon or a republican desperate to score a few points would even dream of using such argument.
