..in that, if you look at the media how much emphasis is on Obama versus the Republicans, yet they are very similar in draw.
No wonder these old media institutions are going broke.
'McCain and Palin drew a combined total of 76.2 million viewers, compared with the 62.4 million who tuned in to watch the Democratic ticket. '
McCain has been outspent somewhere between 6 and 8 to 1 yet he is tied and still swinging. I want a president who doesn't give up when the deck is stacked against him.
for now on i will agree with everything sp4 writes and i think everyone should do the same .
...then it would not be too much of an imposition if I asked you to shut your sarcastic, adolescent mouth?
will do sir.
...good
your at it SP4, please join him. Your lies, rants and misleading crap is very boring. That reminds me of something else, did you know McSame was a POW in Vietnam?
More viewers and 4 less major netowrks carrying the speach. That says alot.
Which lie is that?
...course. I read his book and McCain (his real name) is specific about his POW history. Numerous witnesses gave testimony on it. Who does not know...now.
There were a lot of viewers tunning in - curiosity viewers.
..that's what conventions are all about now. No floor fights, no drafting candidates, it's really a show. I have to say, with Obama spending 3 times as much, MCCain really outdid them all.
Obama has had the army of the libnazi drive-by media throwing softballs for 8 months now, and, by every measure, he should be trouncing McCain. McCain, in a pure warrior fashion, deceived the dems into thinking he was going to get some old GOP apparatachick to match Biden and pulled what can only be described as a fast one.
Palin is frightening to them. Why?
She's so normal. She's the mom everyone knows, or knows one like her, and they're sh-tting their pants over it. For her to swak Obama like she did, with REAL Conservatism, has energized the GOP base, in a way only a Reagan can. I'm not sure who could have done this better..maybe a Colin Powell... if he still had any credibility whatsoever.
and the base is now angry. They're pissed about MCCain being treated just like GW Bush. It's working and the dems did it all for the GOP. Karl Rove must be pissing himself this very moment.
Now, they are coniving as fast as their little libnazi brains will conive and trying to get a working formula to neutralize her. The family thing has already backfired, with Obama apologizing vis a vis a denial of involvement. There will be some kind of foreign policy thing, as if the dems distinguished themselves on the surge over the last two years, but it'll still be coming. That, or a picture of someone with a goat, always effective. All you have to do is look at THEIR primary versus the GOP's and add two and two.
If these facts are correct, McCain has, very deftly, made some real smooth moves. Personally, winning is a lot harder, but you have to give him snaps for his moves up to now. Dems just thought he was a stupid old man...
