The party Powell supported for so many years has been destroyed by the Roves, Cheney's and Bushes. The McCain he knows has also changed to comply with the new party standards and has had to kiss up to these guys when in fact he is better than they are. But time has passed Mr. McCain:

McOld Guy was first against Bush tax cuts and now he is for them.

McOld Guy was first for giving illegal's amnesty now he is against amnesty.

McOld Guy spent 10 years claiming he was 'always for less regulation', called for 'removing regulatory accounting and tax impediments' to financial markets. Now we are in a recession he is for enacting 'reforms to make sure that these outrages never happen in the first place'.

McOld Guy was in a POW camp and tortured for 5 1/2 years voted against a bill that would prevent torture, putting all US troops in jeopardy if and when they are captured.

McOld Guy in 2000 favored normalization of relations with Cuba. In 2003 called US talks with Syria 'appropriate.' In 2006 approved of US talks with the Palestinian Authority. In 2008 said Obama's willingness to meet with the enemy shows his 'naivete and inexperience and lack of judgement.'

McOld Guy in 1997 wrote legislation to ban lobbyists from political campaigns. Said lobbyist fundraisers 'clearly represented a conflict of interest.' Then in 2008 his campaign relies on more than 170 lobbyists to raise money and serve as aides and advisers.

McOld Guy in February 2008 called Obama's insistence that America can track down and kill Al Qaeda in Pakistan the 'confused leadership of an inexperienced candidate.' Then in 2008 voiced no objections when Bush ordered US special forces to invade Pakistani territory in pursuit of Al Qaeda militants.

McOld Guy on September 16, 2008 said 'I do not believe that the American taxpayer should be on the hook for AIG.' The very next day he backed the bailout when he finally figured out that AIG held millions of retirement accounts.

McOld Guy in October 2006 told Chris Matthews, 'I think gay marriage should be allowed.' Minutes later said 'I do not believe that gay marriages should be legal'.

You talk about 'flip-floppers', McOld Guy is the King of flip flopper---but for the wrong reason. The candidate McCain in 2000 would have swept this election, Obama would not have a snowballs chance. But the new candidate McCain has had to give up so many things he was actually a Maverick on that he does not even compare to the 2000 guy, he even made a choice to solidify his base that backfired. Too bad, but time had passed McCain, time for new choices, time for new ideas and time for McCain to go back to the Senate.

'The party Powell supported for so many years has been destroyed by the Roves, Cheney's and Bushes. '

And you represent the Pelosi's, Reid's and the Murthas. Corrupt, incompetent pigs at the trough who vote to send Americans out in harms way then vote to not give them what they need to fight.

'The McCain he knows has also changed to comply with the new party standards...'

Obama is a puppet of leftist cabal. He has been groomed by the likes of Axelrod, Soros, Ayers and Wright in to a slick, lying America hating snake oil salesman who has herded together a coalition of misfits and lemmings who are ready to use the Constitution and the flag as a doormat on the march to to get to the Jimmy Carter era catastrophe that they are going to create.

'McOld Guy was first against Bush tax cuts and now he is for them.'

The Obamamessiah is going to raise the taxes on the middle class to 'spread the wealth around', which will cause small business to cut back on hiring. 100% of the job growth over the past few years was created by small business.

'McOld Guy was first for giving illegal's amnesty now he is against amnesty.'

The Obamamessiah has always been consistent on that: He is going to give illegal aliens drivers licenses, subsidized mortgages and subsidized college education and amnesty... all 12-15 million of them. Indeed, he is going to make it easier fr more to come.

'Now we are in a recession he is for enacting 'reforms to make sure that these outrages never happen in the first place'.'

The Obamamessiah was the second highest recipient of kickbacks from the people who caused the financial melt down and he hired both CEO's of freddie and fannie to be his financial advisers. McCain was provably FOR regulating freddie and fannie and tried TWICE to get legislation passed that would have averted this crisis. It was blocked by the democrats who were getting the bulk of campaign contributions from freddie and fannie.

'McOld Guy was in a POW camp and tortured for 5 1/2 years voted against a bill that would prevent torture, '

Not true, he voted not to tie the hands of the CIA in dealing with the evil monsters who live to attack us. McCain has shown a comprehensive understanding of the threat we have faced, the Obamamessiah fought against the surge that won us Iraq.

' In 2008 said Obama's willingness to meet with the enemy shows his 'naivete and inexperience and lack of judgement[sic].''

The Obamamessiah has stated, plainly and clearly that he was willing to sit down with leaders, in his first term of Iran, syria, cuba, north Korea, etc.. without 'preconditions'. It is breathtakingly naive to sit down with someone in a venue of their choice who chants death to the USA and vows to destroy us and our allies.

'McOld Guy in 1997 wrote legislation to ban lobbyists from political campaigns.'

The Obamamessiah never promised to ban lobbyists and his campaign has been full of them. The same people who caused the financial melt down are on his campaign staff. The Obamamessiah DID promise to take federal matching funds for his campaign which is just another promise that he has broken. Your 170 lobbyists figure is a lie.

That is a lie: The Obamamessiah was vowing to bomb Pakistan, a country that has American troops in it who are already fighting and bombing al qaeda. It was the 'confused leadership of an inexperienced candidate. Obama wants to bomb the countries cooperating and negtiate with the ones who are vowing to kill us.

'McOld Guy on September 16, 2008 said 'I do not believe that the American taxpayer should be on the hook for AIG.'

No one does, the other choice was a depression which we are probably going to get anyway because the people who create businesses are not going to be bothered to do so if the Obamamessiah is just going to nationalize them or take the profit away to give more handouts to his cronies.

'McOld Guy in October 2006 told Chris Matthews, 'I think gay marriage should be allowed.' Minutes later said 'I do not believe that gay marriages should be legal'.'

suggest we give Obama what he wants when (if?) he gets in:
- stop working hard
- apply for every handout going (and apply multiple times and don’t stop until they say yes)
- stop spending any money beyond necessities as doing so would just be putting money in someone else’s pocket
- once on Obamas medical plan, make appointments to go to the doctor at least twice every week for even the most minor complaints, like a papercut or a hangnail
- max out credit cards but use it to buy durables like gold bullion
- do not pay mortgages or other debts (and don’t keep money in the bank either)
basically do everything possible to make sure his socialist BS utopia collapses as soon as possible - the sooner it happens, the sooner America can be rid of him.

You are going to wish for the good old days of Bush after the coming mess. Seriously. And there will be no one else to blame:

The Obama/Biden ticket's entire campaign theme is based on 'the last eight years.' Maybe we should really look at 'the last two years,' or the time period when both the House and the Senate were run by Democrats.

In December 2006, after six years of Bush and the last month before the Democrats took over both houses of the national legislature, a snapshot of our economy looked like this.

* Unemployment stood at 4.4%.
* Real GDP growth over the previous four years (under a Republican President, House and Senate) averaged 3% per year.
* A gallon of regular gasoline cost $2.30.
* The S&P 500 stock index stood at 1418, or 84% above its post-911 low and more than 7% higher than when Bush took office.
* Every year of Bush's Presidency, real (inflation-adjusted) disposable income per person went up. By the end of 2006, the average person was making 9% more in real terms than before Bush became President.

If you recall, that 2006 election was considered a referendum on Iraq. The people wanted change, so they threw out the Republicans and replaced them with Democrats. Welcome Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

Here is how they handled Iraq once in office: Harry Reid told us that the Iraq war was 'lost' and the surge was not 'accomplishing anything.' Senator Obama introduced legislation that would have prevented the surge and would have taken all US troops out of Iraq by March 2008 (that would be seven months ago, as you read this).

So does that make it OK to nationalize entire industries and create a civilian 'army' that will be dependent on a democratic administration to get their paycheck? Does that make it OK to resurrect FAILED ideas like the windfall profit tax and other idiotic schemes that Carter tried which had us in double digit inflation, gas lines and record unemployment?

' They should have let it drop'

They should have stopped it before it became a problem. They didn't because Freddie and Fannie bought off the banking comities democratic members to stop regulation and give people mortgages that they couldn't afford. You know... because it is somehow kinder to the lower class to get them in to a situation where they can't pay for what they have so we should add on more debt to bail them out.

No wonder the posts have been that biased and ignorant. Her press agent was not around to filter her.

ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5iloPGZIqGjpwevwGDywfiaW5zBBwD93T8RB80

Since taking office in December 2006, Palin has had a sometimes tense relationship with black leaders, who say they've been ignored in their efforts to get more minorities hired in her administration.

In Alaska, blacks chafed when Palin failed to issue a proclamation last year endorsing a festival that marks the freeing of slaves, though she did issue one this year. On the campaign trail, her events sometimes have attracted fringe groups hostile to minorities. At one rally attended by Palin, a supporter told a black cameraman to 'sit down, boy.'

Many of Palin's black constituents say they are disgusted with the campaign's racial overtones.

'It's really been like you're going to a Ku Klux Klan rally,' said Javis Odom, an Anchorage minister. 'Gov. Palin is really showing her true colors on the national stage.'

In Alaska, the issue of race relations usually focuses on Alaska Natives, who make up 18 percent of the population. Blacks, in contrast, make up 4 percent. Patterson and Odom say that when they've pressed Palin about diversity in hiring, she gets defensive and even testy.

In Palin's only face-to-face meeting with black leaders in 21 months in office, words became terse when the issue of diversity arose, according to several who attended the March 2007 gathering in Anchorage. Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell also attended the 45-minute meeting.

Participants say Palin refused to reconsider her decision not to reappoint two black officials — including Stewart — from her predecessor's administration. The implication from Palin was 'you can't tell me how to do my job,' said Anchorage businessman Mayfield Evans. 'Her top lip got really tight. You could tell she was upset, that something was not right.'

Some food for thought for those Caucasians who think they are white supremacists, with no trace of Negroid ancestry -

Albinos--The Origin of the Caucasian Race?

As new information comes down the pike, it is necessary to rethink theories that were once in place. The origin and labeling of the “so called” Caucasian, Negroid, and Mongoloid Races by 19th Century scientists, started racial groupings based on skin color by naturalists and anthropologists like Johann F. Blumenbach, JA Gobineau and HS Chamberlain. These men also equated skin color to psychological value and importance to race. Blumenbach named whites after the Caucasus Mountains because he thought the purest white people originated there. He didn't seem to realize the following:

Russia, Chechens, Armenians, and other Southern Russians are considered to have Black Negro origins and CAUCASUS MOUNTAINS PEOPLE ARE CLASSIFIED AS 'BLACK,' AND ARE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. The fact is, BLACKS HAVE LIVED IN SOUTHERN RUSSIA SINCE PREHISTORIC TIMES AND HAVE OCCUPIED THE BLACK SEA REGION SINCE THE TIME OF Senwosret/Sesostris (2000 BC) WHEN AFRICANS DOMINATED THE REGION (SEE 'HERODOTUS' ON THE COLCHIANS).

FROM AFRICA – NOT TO AFRICA!

Today The American Anthropological Association declares there is no such thing as race which is merely a “social construct.” If that is the new scientific principle, then….

MANKIND IS NEGROID! – THE ONLY RACE (ETHNIC GROUP) THAT EVER EXISTED IS NEGROID!

There are plenty of scientific facts to back up this principle. According to The South African Institute for Medical Research in review – Journal of South African Science, THE HIGH FREQUENCY OF ALBINISM IN AFRICA provides more clues to early African history. The Department of Human Genetics at the SAIMR is currently involved with numerous research projects, most related to human genetic disorders and population origins--one of these, ‘Albinism in African peoples’ having received particular attention because it offers new insights into the historical movement of peoples in sub-Saharan Africa.

The albinism syndrome shows parallels with sickle cell anemia. The carrier of the sickle cell mutation is at an advantage in regions where malaria is hyperendemic, which includes large areas of Africa.

About one in 35 southern African blacks is a carrier of an albinism mutation, a surprisingly high prevalence for a genetic disorder where the homozygote is at a survival disadvantage. It is postulated that the albinism carrier may actually be at an advantage, possibly also with malaria as the selective agent. It has been suggested that mosquitoes are less likely to alight and take blood from a lighter-skinned person and thus the albinism carrier may be at an advantage over darker-skinned people. The testing of this hypothesis is opening up a new line of research into malaria studies, which may yet show some other selective agent may be responsible for the high frequency of albinism in Africa.
The new scientific genetic information derived from the Human Genome Project, an international effort to decode the information embedded in the human genome, confirmed to the world by scientists in the East Room of the White House (June, 2000). We all evolved in the last 100,000 years from the same small number of tribes that migrated out of Africa and colonized the world'. 'All human beings are 99.99% the same at the DNA level and the remaining 0.1% genetic variation that exist seldom segregate in a manner that confirms to the racial boundaries constructed by social political means.”

Many years before the Human Genome's Project announcement of its historical DNA findings on so called 'race' (in June of 2000), historians have revealed that human beings, during the primitive era in ancient/antiquity Africa - The Origin of Humankind/Humanity states that due to the lack of knowledge about inbreeding (between closely related parents) they did not understand why their off spring were born with 'white skin.' Scientists say 'white skin' is a form of Albinism (a genetic defected offspring -- lacking melanin).

Jesus lived in Israel. He would have been tanned from the sun due to the fact that he was a carpenter. I believe that his skin would have been darker due to being exposed to the sun.

He somehow thinks this type of communication will win the argument and nullify all the scientific facts which he doesn't understand.

sp4 - If you believe Obama can be fooled by the likes of Dumb ol Bush, why would you vote for him?

there is no disgrace. The only error to be made is,knowing all these lies,to contune

sp4 - well, you certainly have the correct guy for that

traveling the same road whilst pretending to be right.

sp4 - I cannot wait

That is why I still claim the war in Iraq will never be won.
sp4 - uh..our part is a success, so we could leave now and be done.

Gaining a military advantage over the insurgents or appeasing them by bribing their leaders with money will never change the flawed cause for this war.

sp4 - saddam is dead = success

Claiming you are defeating Al Quaida in Iraq is conveniently they were never there in the first place .

sp4 - except fo Zarqawi, safe passage, haven, money, passports, etc.

I would hope not everybody is as headstrong as those that keep shouting they want to stay in Iraq for another 100 years....without even bothering to ask the the Iraqis .

sp4 - this next chucklehad named Obama wants three more years.

I hope that those willing to follow the path taken by McCain can come up with better reasons for doing so.

sp4 - or Obama, take your pickThe reasons given by one of the previous posters simply make no sense. They are just meant to elude the most important issues.
It seems the McCAin campaign is traveling a new road since a few day. They are now claiming your country is to become socialist under Obama.

sp4 _ 'I waana spread the wealth'!

To illustrate that they spread panic as usual:

sp4 - no Tonny, panic is spreading alll by itself!

the government will steal your money and give it to the lazy.
sp4 - after all, they've never done that before, right?

How ridiculous.Where is that happening here in Europe ?
The way I see things is that the rich are stealing your money, just look at the financial crisis.Who's robbing who?

sp4 - Go ask Chris Dodd and be sure to get back to us...or Mr, Rezko...

Who is behind McCain if not the oil lobby, the armament industry ,the insurance companies and the pharmaceutical industry .Guess why?

sp4 - this is why Nader calls Obama 'the dem corporate pick'.

No, Tonny, you just proved you'd change your sex if it would elect a socialist. No, Tonny, Obama is going to keep us in Iraq, and have you justify it, next.

@OK Philistine..etc
Your latest does rather prove my point about not being able to summon facts to support your delusions of white purity and superiority.
You babble about evolution from apes, but don't seem to have a grasp of timescales. Apes were in the evolutionary chain some 3 or 4 MILLION years back, Hommo Sapiens however was only about 200 THOUSAND and moved out of Africa about 100 THOUSAND years ago.
Your Caucasian area was populated by Africans (Black !) in 2000 BC (from written records). White skins developed over this period , as I wrote earlier.

So, I ask just a single question. In the light of the above data, if you believe you have an unsullied genetic link back to some uniquely white skinned ancestry - where is this area ?

If it exists, this would be a great revelation since it doesn't fit the facts of dark skinned origins coming out of Africa, but maybe your 'scientific experience' has provided such evidence. If you cannot provide it then I must assume you are basing your apparent belief in white skinned supremacy, and your case in particular, on a lie. If you feel it necessary to base your life on such a falsehood and not face facts, then one must feel very sorry for you.
So I have posed the question - can you answer it coherently, avoiding invective and insult which simply undermines any credibility you have

This article dating from 206 describes the prologue to the second Iraq war and the role plauyed by Powell in it.Not too difficult for an open mind to conclude he was the only openminded person in the White House:

ATTENTION ALL PUNTERS ! A bit late after ELEVEN pages of absolute wisdom, but better late than never.

NOW HEAR THIS - THIS IS NO DRILL.

'Tonny from Belgium' has foxed us all - UNTIL NOW !

It is apparently a little lady who resides in Washington D.C, enjoying all the pleasures, prosperity and luxuries of the American Dream.

THAT is how she knows every stitch and tack of what is going on. She is NOT in Belgium at all, but stuck right here in the middle of it.

BELGIUM is a distant memory. Probably forgotten where it is.

SO, in future we will refer to her as ;-

FANNY FROM WASHINGTON D.C

Don`t be so sure of THAT `O One of Great Wisdom.

The damned place is listing to starboard with immigrants, asylum seekers and a whole variety of foreign scumbags. They flock here like maggots on a rotten carcase, after the huge number of benefits and other freebie`s the Government throw around like confetti.

...because whenver I think of an unbaised source for the Bush White House, the Washington Post just flys out of Dick Cheney's ass...

Is this something like Al Gore being a scientist?...or Mike Moore a serious documentarian?
