Washington - Democratic Party presidential nominee Barack Obama has decided to drop campaigning for two days later this week for a previously unplanned visit to his ailing grandmother in Hawaii, campaign officials announced late Monday.

Obama, who lead rallies Monday in Florida, will continue his scheduled events through Thursday afternoon, when he will fly to Hawaii to visit Madelyn Dunham, 85.

Obama, 47, a US senator from Illinois, was partly raised by his maternal grandmother. He has spoken often during the campaign of her influence on him and his respect for the sacrifices that his mother and grandparents made for him.

In Florida, Obama communications director Robert Gibbs said that the candidate will scuttle political events in Iowa and Wisconsin to visit Dunham, who has been ill and suffered deteriorating health in recent weeks. Obama plans to resume campaigning on Saturday.

This schedule change should not be a problem to the effectiveness of his campaign whatsoever. He is to be commended for wanting to be with his grandmother at this important time in his life, and it definitely shows the compassion and value he places on family. Maybe in respect, McCain and Palin should suspend their hate tactics for awhile and stick to their issues.

Our black hope for universal salvation has buggered off to Hawaii.

Makes no odds how long he stays there, come back at Christmas, it does not matter. By the luck of the Devil, this guy has won the election already. Reason ;-

McCain is all washed up. He looks over 100, he looks frail, he is a VERY OLD man, he does not look as if he has the energy to fart without having heart failure. The guy has ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE. God, he looks bad, like something the cat has brought in.

If I looked like that, I would book my funeral up quick, dump all those long playing tapes and discs and make damned sure that I drank all my beautiful whisky and brandy before I flaked out. Every second counts John-boy.

On top of being an old physical wreck, that cretin from Alaska has really pissed on his boots. With a VP like her, who needs enemies ? The whole Republican circus is in tatters. A real pile of political shit.

So, Saint Sambo , take your time and nurse your dear old Granny back to life, unfortunately for all of us - YOU`VE GOT NOTHING TO BEAT BACK HERE.

TO :_@TO :_ Agrred, hateful and spitefulOct 21st, 2008 - 18:17:40

Definition of SPAM ;-

The term 'spam' is Internet slang that refers to unsolicited commercial email (UCE) or unsolicited bulk email (UBE). Some people refer to this kind of communication as junk email to equate it with the paper junk mail that comes through the US Mail. Unsolicited email most often contains advertisements for services or products, but very few reputable marketers use UCE to advertise.

You and your buddy morons do not even know the meaning of SPAM.

There isn't any other way to call an inexperienced candidate inexperienced except to say, Yes, Obama is severely underprepared to become President. Oh, yes, he is a gifted speaker. But 2-3 years in the senate and being linked so much to ACORN and the 'Any and everybody gets a house' concept is poisonous to our country. This independent voter has campaigned to get 10 votes more from my own for Senator/Veteran John McCain. Those Americans concerned about Ms. Palin should remember, she is not running for President. Biden said we will be attacked if we elect ObamaOct 21st, 2008 - 19:20:53

'ABC News' Matthew Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.

'Mark my words,' the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. 'It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. You almost have to feel sorry for him that she'll be one of the causes of him losing his dream. One cause, along with his lack of a good economics plan, constantly playing the negative game that takes up way too much of his time, etc.
