Perhaps if Barack Obama had taken more time to build his resumé – especially with executive experience – he might have made a more compelling candidate, and might have demonstrated at least a little of the moderation he has claimed. Instead, Democrats want America to support at once the most radical and least qualified candidate for President in at least a century. They have tried to conceal this with the complicity of a pom-pom-waving national media that has shown much more interest in the political background of a plumber from Ohio than in a major-party candidate for President.
America deserves better than that. Voters deserve the truth from the press, not vague cheers of “hope” and “change” while willfully ignoring or air-brushing Obama’s record.

Yes he is the spam king, but the only way to get rid of him is to report it to the moderators. I have and they have eliminated most of his posts, but they have yet to block him. The more he is reported the more chance we have to get him blocked. His postings are ruining this site.
Indeed, Sir. I for one am sick and tired of his spam and outrageous attacks on people who post anything except what he wants to hear. At the top of the 'add your comment' block is this: 'Spammers will have IP's blocked. Comments should be succinct and not include personal attacks on other readers.'
He breaks this common sense rule with every post. I totally agree that he should be banned. I am not in favor of censorship, but there are limits to good taste and proper behavior in a debate. SP4 is also guilty of personal attacks, racism and obscenity. He has had many posts removed. He should be removed as well. I will freely admit that I have indulged in personal attacks, but only in defence of myself in the face of their attacks. These counter-attacks are not something that I am proud of, but I will continue to defend myself. If they reasonably attacked my position, that is a different matter. The Ad Hominem attacks have no place in civilised discourse. If the site Editor bans me for my counter-punches, I have no argument with him. That is his decision. He has ultimate control over the content on this site. The time wasted in these affairs would be better put to use in quality discussion. This is something that escapes the spammers. A discussion does not come at the working end of a hammer, or from a spam can.

There are bound to be strong comments made on the issues of today, this is an adult world and we must act in an adult way. Emotions run high and get severely tested and aired on certain topical matters.
SPAM is defined as unsolicited and unwanted mail.
As EVERY poster entered on the M&C site is by invitation, it CANNOT possibly be classified as SPAM.
Whether it is UNWANTED is a matter for the moderators to decide and NOT the readers.
Readers may not like the content of some posters, but that is life - some like it - some don`t.
So, if any juveniles or hyper-sensitive people enter this site and start throwing around SPAM or other adverse allegations, then please leave it and patronise a forum more in line with your age group or restrictive levels of tolerance.

Only a little true. The readers report something as UNWANTED, as SPAM. The Editors(not moderators, because this is a news site)take a look at it and say yes or no. Usually YES and delete the offending post. If there is too much SPAM, they delete the SPAMMER. The first decision to report it as UNWANTED, as SPAM is a decision by a reader. Editors cannot read every post as it come in.
