Was anyone able to read Bush's lips when he said something to First Lady Obama just as he was saying goodbye? Whatever it was it ended with what appeared to be a sincere 'I promise.' I'm a pretty good lip reader, but I'd looked away for just a second and I really want to know what Bush promised Mrs. Obama.

I'm sure Bush and Laura had to both give a huge sigh of relief as the helicopter left Washington - a big burden lifted from their shoulders.
