Poll: Muslim Americans more content than Muslims around the world

Washington - Muslims in the United States are more content with their lives than their religious counterparts in the Middle East and other western nations, according to a poll released Monday.
The Gallup Organization's poll of Muslim Americans, which make up about 1 per cent of the US population, found the group to be far more religious and less politically engaged than other religious factions in the United States.
Some 80 per cent said religion played an important role in their lives, compared to 65 per cent on average in the US. Only 64 per cent said they were registered to vote, compared to 81 per cent of the US population at large.
The poll also asked the group to rate their life satisfaction on a scale of 0 to 10. Gallup then labelled 'thriving' as 7 or higher, 'struggling' as between 5 and 7, and 'suffering' was considered 4 or lower.
Only 41 per cent of Muslim Americans rated their lives as thriving - compared to 46 per cent of Americans overall - while 56 per cent say they were struggling.
That proved higher than the vast majority of Muslim populations in western Europe and predominantly Muslim countries in the Middle East and Asia. The exceptions were Germany, where 49 per cent of Muslims said they were thriving, and Saudi Arabia (51 per cent).
By contrast only 8 per cent of Britain's Muslims and 23 per cent of France's Muslims consider themselves thriving. Only 13 per cent in Egypt and 11 per cent in Indonesia and Pakistan were thriving, according to previous global polls by Gallup.
Gallup polled 319,751 Americans over 2008, out of which 946 identified themselves as Muslims. The poll's margin of error was plus or minus 4 percentage points.

As Muslim numbers increase - all indicators show that they start to impose their religious beliefs on others - at 1% of the US population - they melt in - as their numbers don't give them much power -
But watch before the US turns around - through arranged marriages - their numbers will grow - [Muslims often only chose partners from outside of the western country they inhabit - so that each child is used to gain a passport for someone from the third or Islamic world ]-
In Denmark one study showed how a group of 1000 Muslim immigrants turned into 20,000 in 20 years - how ??
Each person married someone from Turkey in this case - and the men married often - more than once - up to three times purely with women overseas. The marriages between the Islamic community and those from this N. European country - for that year were a total of four!!
In the northern European countries many Muslims can't or don't find work - can continue bringing more people from the third world and live off the state - so that their children can then be married off and bring more people from the third/Islamic world - and so on..
