US and Cuba to hold talks on migration

Jun 1, 2009, 10:22 GMT

Washington - The United States and Cuba are to hold talks on migration and other questions for the first time since such talks were broken off six years ago, the US State Department announced on Sunday.

US State Department officials said the talks, agreed to by Cuba on Saturday, would also cover mail services between the two countries. No further details were made known.

US President Barack Obama had previously stated the desire to create a new beginning in US relations with the communist-led government in Havana.

The US president recently eased travel restrictions for exile Cubans to their country of origin as well as loosened other restrictions in the US' Cuba policy.

Obama has however made clear that there was still a long road ahead in in overcoming decades of animosity between the two countries, as he called for greater democracy and freedoms for Latin America's sole remaining country under a one-party system.

But SP wouldn't know that because it isn't spelled

he simply doesn' t like it when facts prove him wrong .Let us not forget that George Bush ,after the terrorist attack against the twin towers pulled a few tricks out of his magic hat:Saddam and Castro being some part of the 'axis of evil' a figment of his imagination gobbled up by the likes of SP4 living in a paranoid universe in which the outside world is a permanent plot against them.It took a few years to find out all that tripe but some of us,the most stupid, don't get it and keep on clinging to the neocon logics ,rather than redefining their universe to make it stick to reality .Hence they twist and bend reality out of shape to keep it in the framework of their paranoia .The last thing they want to hear is simply their own contradictions in doing so.SP4 has never given any explanation of anything when confronted with his own contradictions or inconsistencies; SP4 will never even acknowledge what the rest of the world already knows;there were no WMD in Iraq, there is no such silly thing as the 'axis of evil' ,the paranoia is over for us but not for him.Such a mindframe is typical for psychotic people .Together with other symptoms it forms a syndrome .Those other symptoms are isolation,no family,no children,no job replacing reality with aspirations .Hence SP4 acts like belonging to the middle class and having two degrees. That phenomenon is called social anticipation:acting not according the class you belong to but the class you aspire to belong to.
It is not very difficult for an educated person to see through the ripped filaments of a frail mind.We should feel deeply sorry for such feeble cognitive capacities if there were not his wickedness and cruelty for which there is no excuse at all. That part of his personality is simply inexcusable ,it does not indicate any coherent moral standards .I think he is a dangerous person,a ticking time bomb.

An excellent post. In a lighter vein I would think that instead of a ticking time bomb, SP is a ticking bong.
